Men In Black 2 Filming Delayed

Variety reports that filming on Men In Black 2 had been delayed due to the terrorist attacks on the United States. The movie was partially filmed in New York, however the New York City location had already wrapped at the time of the attacks. Filming was slated to resume on Tuesday, the day of the tragedies, on Sony soundstages in Culver City, but it was delayed until Wednesday.

With production continuing, Sony and Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment announced they will now rework the ending of the film, which featured the World Trade Center.

While some sources say that filming was done on the WTC sequence earlier in the summer, Sony claims that the scene had not been done yet.

"There was a scene set against the background of the World Trade Center, and given yesterday's tragedy, we are now in the process of looking at alternatives," said a Sony Pictures spokesperson.

The studio is also looking to remove any other footage that features the towers.
