Wanda Maximoff, recently dubbed the Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has experienced a life full of ups and downs. Despite all the tragedy that she has endured, Wanda has always been the type of person who does what she believes is right. However, her actions were sometimes questionable.

On the other hand, she has done a great number of positive things after she joined the Avengers. Although Wanda may not have been aware of what she was doing or how she was doing it, WandaVision revealed that she was the one who kept the Stark Industries bomb from exploding.

For a whole two days after their home had been one of many victims of the bombing, she and her brother were hidden under a bed waiting for help. Although they did not know it at the time, they were completely safe thanks to Wanda.

Thanks to the Stark bomb that terrorized the children for days, the twins quickly grew to hate Tony, as well as the Avengers by extension. Wanda and her brother participated in protests against Stark Industries before joining Hydra.

There, she discovered his plans to completely wipe out humanity. After freeing Helen Cho from his control, Wanda and her brother flee and join the Avengers in stopping Ultron and evacuating the people of the floating portion of Novi Grad.

Although Wanda had a change of heart at the end, her manipulation of Tony Stark led to the birth of Ultron. She gave Tony a vision of his fears, forcing him to see the rest of the Avengers dead, as well as his failure to protect the planet from an alien invasion.

Realizing that he was going to bring about his own destruction, she allowed him to leave with the scepter. Her vision is the reason why he didn't immediately give the scepter to Thor.

Once Thanos arrived on Earth, Vision managed to convince her to do so. Despite how excruciatingly painful it was for her to do it, Wanda granted Vision's wish and made a selfless attempt to save countless lives.

5 Worst: Wanda Enraged The Hulk

When the Avengers arrived in Africa to stop Ultron, Wanda took the opportunity to use her magic to mess with Bruce Banner's mind. This caused him to fly into a blind rage and rampage as the Hulk.

He started to destroy a nearby city, and although Tony Stark intervened, the ensuing battle led to the destruction of an entire building that was under construction. Hulk barely starts to snap out of it in time to see terrified citizens fleeing, which led to his decision to leave the planet in the Quinjet.

4 Best: Wanda Never Stole Vision's Body

Although framed by Hayward as an aggressive villain who broke into S.W.O.R.D. headquarters to steal Vision's body, she never did that. She shattered the glass barrier because she couldn't stand seeing him being ripped apart, and left after determining that she could no longer feel his presence in the body.

Even when S.W.O.R.D. attempted to attack her, she never actually attacked back. When Monica Rambeau revealed herself as a S.W.O.R.D. agent, Wanda expelled her from the barrier without hurting her.

3 Worst: Wanda Accidentally Blew Up A Building Full Of People

Wanda joined the Avengers in pursuing and fighting Crossbones, a HYDRA member. Crossbones attempts to blow himself up and take Captain America with him. Through a great effort, Wanda uses her magic to contain the blast.

In an attempt to move the explosion away from the people in the surrounding area, she lifts Crossbones into the air. Unfortunately, this ends up destroying a part of a nearby building and killing the people inside.

2 Best: Wanda Tried To Give Vision A Good Life

Hayward may only see Vision as a weapon or a machine, but to Wanda, Vision is much more than that. They had planned on getting old together, and when they could not, Wanda wanted to give him a proper burial at the very least.

Her anguish led to her creating another Vision, and from then on, she immersed them into a reality similar to a television sitcom. After all, her childhood belief was that at the end of each episode, the misfortune that occurred would be easily resolved and all would be okay again.

Consumed by grief, Wanda's unleashed powers that altered the reality of Westview. This changed the appearance of the town and made the people act a specific way. Monica described this sensation as excruciating, terrifying, and a violation.

The people's suffering becomes more obvious when Vision looks for clues. Those freed from Wanda's spell become disoriented or even experience meltdowns, while some people on the outskirts of town are stuck in an endless loop.
