Thought the MCU's tagline and Kevin Feige claim that "it's all connected" we the audience know all-too-well that this connectivity hasn't resulted in a great deal of overlap between Marvel's movies and television properties. Aside from casual references and clever easter eggs, Marvel's TV shows have never been truly incorporated into the larger MCU. More often than not, the movies don't even seem to acknowledge the existence of heroes like Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Quake and guess what -- the fans aren't too happy with this development. We were promised a universe in which everything is connected, yet the movies seem to exist in their own universe, while the Netflix shows live in their own little bubble and no one even know how Runaways figure into all of this.

One solution would be to actually allow these fractions of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to cross paths with one another. It's been far too long since Lady Sif dropped in to collaborate with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and it wouldn't hurt if at least one of the Avengers popped up in one of the Netflix shows. Conversely, the street-level heroes could appear in one of Marvel's upcoming movies. Jessica Jones, Daredevil, and Ghost Rider seem to be suitable candidates for the big screen. Not that every TV hero deserves a shot at the movies, but some have most definitely earned it. Join us as we take a closer look at 10 Marvel TV heroes who deserve to be on the big screen and 10 we'd rather stay where they are.

20 DESERVES: DAREDEVIL

Daredevil

Daredevil was Marvel’s first venture into the street-level-hero realm that has become known as the Netflixverse, though, the days may be numbered for Marvel's Netflixverse. If Daredevil, like Iron Fist and Luke Cage before it, gets canceled by Netflix, then the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen should definitely join the broader MCU on the big screen.

And even if the show doesn’t end up getting canceled, we’d still like to see Matt in one of Marvel's upcoming movies. With three incredible seasons under his belt, Daredevil certainly earned a spot on the big screen. If Marvel does decide to bring in the New Avengers, it could open the door for Daredevil.

19 DOESN'T: ELEKTRA

Elektra

Unlike, Matt Murdock, his troubled love interest Elektra hasn’t quite yet earned her place on the silver screen. Elodie Yung’s take on the character is definitely a vast improvement on Jennifer Garner’s Elektra from the early 2000s, however, she not one of Marvel’s best TV characters either.

As of now, Elektra is MIA. She was with Matt Murdock at the end of The Defenders, but her status has yet to be confirmed. If she does turn out to be alive, we’d like Elektra to get more character development on TV before we make our final decision on whether she should be on the big screen or not.

18 DESERVES: LUKE CAGE

Luke Cage

Much to our surprise and dismay, Marvel’s Luke Cage got canceled just days after Netflix announced Iron Fist’s cancelation. Whether these two shows will be back on Disney’s own upcoming streaming service, or will Danny Rand and Luke Cage be embarking on adventures together in a Heroes for Hire series remains to be seen. At the moment, there’s a lot of rumors and speculations, but nothing official.

What we do know for certain is that we wouldn’t mind seeing Mike Colter’s Luke Cage on the big screen. An individual with his abilities would certainly be of service to the Avengers in these tough times.

17 DOESN'T: IRON FIST

Iron Fist

Sadly, the same cannot be said of Luke’s partner in crime, the Immortal Iron Fist. Danny Rand hasn’t exactly gotten a warm welcome from the fans and that bad first impression seems to have permanently ruined his reputation. Iron Fist’s first season was disappointing, to say the least.

The second season, luckily, addressed and fixed some of the issues critics and fans pointed out, but it wasn’t enough for the show to be considered good. The series’ cancelation didn’t come as a surprise. Since Iron Fist couldn’t make it on TV, we don't think he should be graduating to the big screen.

16 DESERVES: COLLEEN WING

Colleen Wing

But, that is not to say that Iron Fist offered absolutely nothing noteworthy and enjoyable. Jessica Henwick’s Colleen Wing was a far more interesting and likable character than Danny Rand. From the very beginning, Colleen established herself as the only well-rounded character on the show.

She has a clear sense of purpose and actual obstacles to overcome on her path to achieving her goals. Her character and story are far more compelling than anything Danny Rand has brought to the table. Not only would she make a better series lead, but she could also join Marvel’s movie universe. Or, she could team up with Misty Knight for a Daughters of the Dragon series.

15 DOESN'T: TRISH WALKER

Trish Walker

Unfortunately, we can’t say the same of Jessica Jones’ Trish Walker. Back in season one, Trish was easily a fan-favorite on the show. However, season two made some missteps when it came to developing Trish’s character that we’re really hoping will be fixed in the upcoming third season.

Trish is an awesome character. She’s got a rich backstory, she constantly faces real struggles, and she’s got a lot of potential for interesting developments in the future. Which is why, when it comes to moving to the big screen, we’re marking Trish as “not yet”. Season two hinted at Trish becoming Hellcat and that’s something that has us really excited. Hopefully, it will change our vote from “not yet” to “hell yes”.

14 DESERVES: JESSICA JONES

Jessica Jones

Jessica Jones, on the other hand, is a whole different story. This heavy-drinking private investigator turned unwitting hero more than deserves to be part of Marvel’s bigger picture. Jessica Jones is one of MCU’s most relatable characters -- not only because she shamelessly wears the same pair of pants every day -- and she’s hella strong, which would certainly help her shine on the big screen.

In all seriousness, Jessica Jones kicking some Skrull keister with her comic book bestie Carol Danvers would make a lot of Marvel fans very happy. So, how about it Marvel? Should we hold onto hope or resign ourselves to the fact that the Netflixverse heroes won’t ever appear in the movies?

13 DOESN'T: YO-YO

Yo-Yo Slingshot

The Arrowverse shows aren’t the only ones that have speedsters. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has its own Speedy Gonzales: Elena “Yo-Yo” Rodriguez. Yo-Yo made her first appearance in season three and has since become a valuable member of Coulson’s team. Her super speed has come in handy on many occasions, but we’re not so sure she’d be of much help in the movies.

Let’s face it if Quicksilver only lasted one movie, what chance does Yo-Yo have at actually contributing anything to the Avengers. Odds are she’d meet the same fate as Pietro Maximoff. She’s better off on TV and if the Avengers need a speedster, Marvel should just bring Quicksilver back.

12 DESERVES: MISTY KNIGHT

Misty Knight

Misty Knight is one of the best characters Marvel has brought to Netflix. Brilliantly portrayed by Simone Missick, Misty made her MCU debut in season one of Luke Cage and has since popped up in two other Marvel/Netflix shows: The Defenders and Iron Fist.

Although she started off as a mere police detective, she has since gotten her cybernetic enhancements which made her a valuable ally to the street heroes. Misty may not have what it takes to take on Thanos, but she could certainly help the Avengers in some capacity. Since most disasters seem to happen in New York, it would be easy to squeeze her into a movie.

11 DOESN'T: DEATHLOK

Deathlok

For someone who’s been on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as early as season one, Deathlok sure is a forgettable character. Deathlok was mostly panned for his very poorly designed costume. Sure, it had to be done on a TV budget, but even so, it is far too worse than it needed to be. As for Deathlok himself, he didn’t exactly become a fan-favorite.

His appearances on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are few and far in between that we almost forget he even exists. So, despite having useful abilities, we don’t think Deathlok should join Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

10 DESERVES: GHOST RIDER

Ghost Rider

On the contrary, Robbie Reyes, aka Ghost Rider, would make more than a welcome addition to the movie side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Robbie’s run on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. brought excitement and horror to the show and he could very well do the same for the larger MCU.

Ghost Rider has already had a chance on the silver screen portrayed by Nicolas Cage. Opinions on that particular franchise are divided, but most will agree that a big screen Ghost Rider reboot is due. Diego Luna’s performance on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. more than qualifies him to join Marvel’s movie scene.

9 DOESN'T: THE PATRIOT

The Patriot

While Coulson’s team was initially wary of the new boss, Mace soon proved to be a valuable ally and a true hero. Mace even used the Patriot Serum when it could end him because he wanted to protect people. In the end, the former S.H.I.E.L.D. director gave his life to save a group of children and his fellow agents.

Like a true hero, Mace put on a costume and became known as the Patriot. He has been of great assistance to Coulson’s team and he’s saved countless lives, however, we don’t see him joining the Avengers or anything. If anyone's going to be taking up the mantle of Captain America, it should be either Sam or Bucky.

8 DESERVES: PUNISHER

The Punisher

The foil to Matt Murdock, Frank Castle, does whatever is necessary to clean up the streets of New York City. In season two of Daredevil, Punisher made his debut portrayed by Jon Bernthal, who delivered the performance of his career. Excellent as both the brutal vigilante the Punisher and Frank Castle the broken man, Bernthal got his own series pretty soon.

The first season got mixed reviews, but that hasn’t stopped Netflix from announcing season two. While the season may not have been as good as Daredevil, Jon Bernthal’s performance was equally compelling. So, perhaps it’s time Punisher came back to the big screen.

7 DON'T: THE INHUMANS

Inhumans

Marvel’s short-lived IMAX series The Inhumans stands as the MCU’s lowest-rated property thus far. With a 12% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, all further plans for the show have been canceled. While the show had tons of issues–including, but not limited to, low-budget costumes, even-lower-budget special effects, bad action scenes, and most importantly poor writing.

None of the characters were even remotely likable, relatable, or well-rounded. Black Bolt -- aside from not having a voice -- didn’t have a personality either, Medusa’s attitude and appearance made her insufferable, and none of the other characters fared much better with the audience. Marvel should just let The Inhumans fade away.

6 DESERVE: RUNAWAYS

Runaways

On the other hand, Marvel’s Hulu series about a group of teenagers who team up to fight the evil organization their parents are part of is one of MCU’s best shows. Runaways premiered in November 2017 to positive reception from both the critics and the audience.

Season two is coming in December 2018. That being said, we wouldn’t mind seeing the Runaways on the big screen. With their unusual set of powers and skills, Runaways are more than equipped to take on a big bad in a movie. Get Jon Watts to direct and include cameos from Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Cloak and Dagger, or perhaps even set up a sequel where they all join forces.

5 DOESN'T: FLINT

Flint

Flint, if you somehow forgot, was one of the young Inhumans living in the Lighthouse in the alternative timeline Coulson and his team found themselves in season five of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He had the ability to manipulate earth and earthen materials and fought against Kasius with Coulson and the team.

When faced with the decision whether to return to the present or stay in the dystopian future, Flint opted for the latter to help survivors rebuild Earth. While we are curious to see how Flint’s efforts go, we’re not sure his story would work as a movie.

4 DESERVES: BOBBI MORSE

Mockingbird Bobbi Morse

Bobbi Morse and her ex-husband Lance Hunter came incredibly close to getting their own show titled Marvel’s Most Wanted before ABC nipped it in the bud. Since Bobbi was written out of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Adrianne Palicki has already moved on to other projects and she’s currently starring on FOX’s The Orville.

However, if she ever does want to return to Marvel as Bobbi Morse we’d be more than happy to welcome her back. Since the plans for the TV show fell through, maybe Marvel should try including Bobbi Morse in one of their movies. Perhaps, Marvel’s Most Wanted could be one of MCU's future films.

3 DOESN'T: LINCOLN CAMPBELL

Lincoln Campbell

Daisy Johnson’s ex-boyfriend Lincoln Campbell is all but forgotten by now. Portrayed by Luke Mitchell, Lincoln first appeared in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season two as one of the Inhumans living at the Inhuman settlement Afterlife led by Daisy’s mother. Lincoln played an important role in season three when he sacrificed himself to take out Hive.

Lincoln was certainly a hero and he perished as such, but we’re not sure he’s ready for the big screen. As a character, he wasn’t all that interesting, outside of his relationship with Daisy. Lincoln just isn't a big enough hero for the big screen.

2 DESERVE: CLOAK & DAGGER

Cloak & Dagger

Marvel’s second series about superpowered teenagers, Cloak & Dagger, was released in June 2017 to generally positive reviews. Starring Aubrey Johnson and Olivia Holt as the titular heroes, Cloak & Dagger impressed both fans and critics. In just one season this awesome twosome earned their spot on the big screen.

If Marvel is, indeed, planning a Young Avengers movie sometime in the future then Tandy and Ty should definitely be included. You can’t tell us you wouldn’t like to see a movie where Cloak and Dagger team up with Shuri and Spidey. And, why the hell not, they may as well include the Runaways for good measure.

1 DOESN'T: QUAKE

Quake

Daisy Johnson, or Skye if you will, came a long way since season one. To be honest, Skye wasn’t nearly the most likable or interesting character at the beginning. In fact, she was a bit boring and annoying at times. Luckily, Skye has gone through substantial character growth thanks to the outstanding writing on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

She’s become a fan favorite and if anyone from Coulson’s team were to make the transition to the big screen Daisy would be the most obvious choice. Still, her powers are of far greater use alongside her S.H.I.E.L.D. team than with the Avengers. So, for now, at least, we’d keep Quake on TV.
