Disney fans will soon see Captain America live as the mass media giant confirms the debut of Rogers: The Musical at Disneyland this summer.

According to a report from Collider, the highly-anticipated one-act version of Rogers: The Musical will run at Anaheim's Disneyland Park in June. Disney confirmed in a press release the show will feature as a part of the company's 100th-anniversary celebrations. "A real-life, all-new short one-act musical theater production of "Rogers: The Musical" will burst onto the stage at the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure Park for a limited-time engagement beginning June 30, 2023. It’s all happening during the Disney100 celebration at Disneyland Resort," Disney said.

Rogers: The Musical Jumps From Hawkeye to Disneyland

Rogers: The Musical chronicles the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Steve Rogers, the World War II-era super soldier who became Captain America after receiving a serum that gave have superhuman traits. A cast of singers and dancers, as well as various Avengers, Peggy Carter and Nick Fury, will feature in the production. Rogers: The Musical will tell the titular character's story from his experiences during the war to his current life. The upcoming musical will run for 30 minutes each Tuesday through Saturday on most weeks.

Additionally, Disney confirmed Rogers: The Musical's songs include "Save the City," from Disney+'s Hawkeye miniseries and "Star Spangled Man," from Captain America: The First Avenger, as well as five new original songs written specifically for the musical. The songs were penned by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. Disney also announced details regarding merchandise, food and refreshments connected to Rogers: The Musical will be unveiled closer to its opening.

MCU fans have been angling for Rogers: The Musical ever since the airing of Hawkeye in 2021 when its first episode and post-credits scene treated fans to a Broadway musical sequence. The performance featured Rogers and the rest of the Avengers, which interpreted The Avengers' Battle of New York. At last September's D23 Expo, Marvel president Kevin Feige brought the musical production to the event, delighting all in attendance.

Sam Wilson Took Over the Shield From Steve Rogers

Steve Rogers was played by Chris Evans in the MCU, starring in several Captain America and Avengers franchise films, with Endgame marking his retirement from superhero life and seeing Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson take up the star-spangled mantle. Evans has teased an MCU return at some point as he believes there are more stories to tell about the character. Captain America makes his live-action return in 2024's New World Order, fleshing out Marvel's Phase Five. Mackie stars in New World Order alongside Brie Larson, Sebastian Stan, Liv Tyler and Harrison Ford, with the film opening in theaters on May 3, 2024.

Rogers: The Musical opens at Disneyland on Jun. 30.
