Despite only having two episodes released thus far, Loki has become Disney+'s most successful show to date. Disney has decided to release every show from here on out on Wednesdays, apparently suggesting that the day of release matters to the success of the show.

Regardless of the day of the week, MCU shows appear to be getting better with each passing series. Phase 4 has promised fans 25 new MCU properties between movies and shows, and fans could not be more excited. Each coming show may not necessarily tie into the greater MCU, but fans are happy to have so much content after the 18-month MCU drought.

10 The Highly Anticipated What If...? Series (Summer 2021)

Peggy as Captain Britain in the What If series

While the What If...? series isn't going to be canon with the existing MCU, it will showcase scenarios that would have played out drastically different in the MCU if certain changes were made. For example, one of the episodes that fans are most excited about is the episode that shows Peggy Carter receiving the Super Soldier Serum instead of Steve Rogers.

Another episode indicates that instead of Peter Quill being abducted from Earth, it was actually T'Challa. Not only would this completely change the history of the Guardians of the Galaxy but it would also change the entire country of Wakanda as fans know it. This show may be several seasons as it was originally promised that each movie would have a corresponding episode, but there are only ten confirmed for the release this summer.

9 The Introduction Of Kamala Khan's Ms. Marvel (2021)

The Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special Dropping In 2022

While Kamala Khan has yet to formally enter the MCU, fans of the Avenger's video game have been playing with Ms. Marvel for months; introducing her in the game was a great way for Marvel to showcase her abilities. Rumors suggest that the big wigs at Marvel are not impressed with Iman Vellani's portrayal, but fans are still excited for Ms. Marvel's MCU debut.

The series itself is will follow Kamala Khan, a teenage Pakistani-American girl living in Jersey City. She is smart, driven, and loves superheroes, with her favorite being Captain Marvel. After receiving powers of her own, she must learn to adjust to her new life as a hero.

8 Passing The Torch To Kate Bishop In Hawkeye (Late 2021)

Hawkeye passing an arrow to Kate Bishop

The premise of the Hawkeye show is still somewhat of a secret, but fans have learned that Hawkeye will be training Kate Bishop, another great archer from Marvel comics. It is presumed that Hawkeye will teach Bishop everything he knows so that he can retire and Bishop can replace him on the next team of Avengers as the normal human with no special abilities wielding a bow and arrow.

Due to recently leaked set photos, fans are speculating that the villain of this series will be Ivan Banionis, a villain who first appeared in an early Hawkeye comic. His origins will have to be adjusted for the MCU, but fans are much more excited about the debut of Lucky the Pizza Dog.

7 Egyptian Mythology Introduced in Moon Knight (2022)

Oscar Isaac and Moon Knight

It's been revealed that Oscar Isaacs will be portraying Marc Spector aka Moon Knight. What makes Spector so interesting is the fact that he's a hero with a dissociative identity disorder. In the comics, he's similar to Batman in that he's a wealthy entrepreneur that fights crime by night as a vigilante. He is an expert detective and uses a variety of cool gadgets.

However, he's also gifted with superpowers thanks to the Egyptian moon god, Khonshu, who resurrected Spector during an archeological dig gone wrong. It's currently unknown how closely the show will follow the comics, but there are rumors that Jon Bernthal's Punisher could be making an appearance as a villain before teaming up with Spector to take down the true villain of the show.

6 How Many Hulks Will They Introduce In She-Hulk? (2022)

Marvel Comics Jennifer Walters up close face shot

It's no secret that Jennifer Walters will be coming to the MCU after the announcement that Tatiana Maslany will be portraying her in the upcoming series. It's also been revealed that Emil Blonsky's Abomination will be making his return in this show. Additionally, Mark Ruffalo will be returning as Bruce Banner for the series, though it's been reported that his Hulk may be different than the one in Endgame.

With so many new and returning Hulk creatures popping up in this show, many fans have wondered if Marvel will finally introduce Thaddeus Ross's Red Hulk. There have also been murmurings that Marvel may take this opportunity to introduce (or leave bread crumbs for) Amadeus Cho's Hulk, Helen Cho's son. Fans may be getting a whole lot of Hulks in 2022.

5 Secret Invasion Is Expected To Be Inspired By The Comic Book Run Of Secret Wars (2022)

Talos & Fury from the MCU

Fury has notably been absent in all of the Disney+ series thus far, but that's probably because he's expected to be the main focus of Secret Invasion. He and Talos, the Skrull from Captain Marvel, are poised to be the lead roles for this series. There have been rumors that a myriad of heroes will be making cameos, including Captain Marvel, Quake (from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and Phil Coulson.

However, assuming the series is drawing inspiration from the comic story, they all may very well be Skrulls in disguise. There have been Skrulls in two of the three new MCU shows, so it seems that Marvel is setting the stage for Skrulls to be around in a lot of places and perhaps they've been in those places for a long time.

4 The Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special Dropping Is In 2022

The Guardians of the Galaxy from a deleted scene in Vol. 1

It remains to be seen whether or not this is going to be a canon special or if it's simply meant to bring superhero joy around the holidays. Regardless, fans are certainly excited to see more Guardians, especially considering Vol. 3 won't be released until 2023.

If this special is in fact a canon extension of the MCU, fans would certainly hope that Gunn provides some kind of insight into what will happen in Vol. 3. Additionally, if it's canon, having Thor involved could prove to be hilarious depending on when this special takes place chronologically compared to Thor 4.

3 The Next User Of Stark-Tech, Ironheart (TBA)

Riri Williams with her Ironheart armor in the comics

While it has yet to be revealed when this series is releasing, Dominique Thorne has already been cast as Riri Williams, the star of the show. She is a young genius that manages to acquire some kind of Stark-tech and develops her own version of the Iron Man armor.

Fans have speculated that Stark uploaded his consciousness as an A.I. before his passing in Endgame. Additionally, there have been rumors that RDJ could be returning to the MCU (under the right circumstances). Tony returning to mentor the next Iron Person would be a logical reason to return, and with the A.I. option sitting on the table, it wouldn't be hard to do.

2 Speaking Of Iron Man, Rhodey Is Getting A Show In Armor Wars (TBA)

James Rhodes as War Machine in Armor Wars.

The MCU is getting a new Iron Man in the form of Ironheart, but it's also getting a whole series focused on Tony's best friend, Rhodey aka War Machine. It's unknown which series will come first, but having Armor Wars set the stage for Riri could be a great way to introduce the next Iron Person.

Perhaps Williams will appear in an end-credits capacity to set up her series, or if hers comes first, she could be important in Armor Wars. There have also been rumors that Jessica Jones may make an appearance in Armor Wars, though it's unclear how her character would cross paths with Rhodey.

1 Groot, I Am Groot, Groot (GROOT)

Baby Groot with a look of confusion

Another show where it's unclear whether or not it will be canon is a series of shorts centered around Groot. Based on what's known so far, it sounds like the show will follow the adventures of the seedling version of Groot. It's also been suggested that there will be several new and unique characters joining Groot on his journeys.

Even if this ends up not being truly canon, everyone loves Groot whether he's a baby or a full-grown Flora Colossus. With so many shows coming in the next couple of years, and a dozen movies, fans are going to have their hands full trying to keep up.
