Prior to He Who Remains appearance in Disney+'s Loki, Jonathan Majors was confirmed as playing Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe starting in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Just exactly what Kang will do in that movie is unclear, but Loki has guaranteed that the classic Avengers villain is going to be a huge threat to Earth's Mightiest Heroes going forward. And in this new exclusive video, we're going to go into why that might mean someone -- specifically Hank Pym -- will die in the third Ant-Man film.

Since debuting in 2015, Ant-Man and his adventures have proven integral to the MCU as a whole, and with the addition of Kang, it's clear that Quantumania will be no different. In order to have maximum impact and prove his power, Kang will almost certainly need to kill someone. While Scott Lang seems likely to still be relevant to the plot going forward (though it's possible he may also be killed), Hank isn't necessarily someone that the MCU needs to keep alive for very much longer, especially following his reunion with Janet van Dyne in Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, it's not totally clear just what shape the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will take. While there's a good indication the characters that Disney acquired from 21st Century Fox will soon arrive, there's not much solid information on just when or how that might happen. Right now, there are a lot of potential directions the MCU could go in the future, though exactly what will happen remains to be seen.
