5 Sam Wilson Is A Very Different Kind Of Captain America

Sam Wilson is a skilled soldier, and his recent turn as Captain America is proof of that. His time as the high-flying Falcon saw him combining his military training with flight, and once he got Cap's shield, he practiced with it until he mastered it. Sam's fighting style combines a variety of weapons, his wings, and the shield, three separate ways of fighting, into one potent whole. He's a very difficult foe to deal with, and woe betide any enemy who thinks his lack of superpowers make him an easy opponent to beat.

4 Steve Rogers Has A Diverse Fighting Style

Steve Rogers's time as Captain America proved just how great a fighter he is. While MCU Cap is different than comic Cap, he still has a vast repertoire of skills to call upon. He knows how to use his super strength and agility in concert with military-trained fighting skills and shield fighting into a potent offense and defense that proved near unbeatable.

Even foes who were much more powerful than him, like Iron Man or Thanos, Steve Rogers proved that fighting skill could carry the day. Few out there could outfight him, and the ones who could usually do so because of their powers. In a straight fight, Rogers wins.

3 Gamora Is The Most Dangerous Woman In The Universe

Thanos took Gamora from her homeworld after he culled it. He crafted her into his greatest weapon. While his armies and the Black Order were his hammer to bludgeon his foes, Gamora was his scalpel, the person he sent in when he needed things done surgically. She proved to be the most dangerous woman in the universe.

Gamora lives and dies by her fighting skill. She's great with all manner of weapons, but she doesn't need them; hand to hand, she's just as devastating. Gamora's name and reputation alone were enough to scare off even the toughest beings in the universe.

While comic Black Widow would take exception to her MCU counterpart in many ways, one place she wouldn't is in her doppelganger's fighting skills. The Red Room created the greatest assassins the world has known, and Natasha is the apex of that. That's not to say the others aren't formidable as well, especially her sister Yelena.

Natasha and Yelena are both amazing fighters. They have a mastery of diverse fighting styles and are deadly with any weapon they can get their hands on. The Red Room was a terrible place and what it did to the women inside was unconscionable, but one can't argue with the results when it comes to fighting prowess.

1 Shang-Chi Is A Martial Arts Savant

Shang-Chi is the master of kung-fu, trained to be the best of the best from a young age. There are few fighters as amazing as he is. His martial arts mastery is such that he basically has superpowers, and in a fight, it's hard to think of anyone who could actually beat him. He's a man who lives and dies by his skills; with them, he'll be alive for a long time.

Shang-Chi can use any weapon he gets his hands on or fight without them. It doesn't matter if there is one enemy or a hundred; he's going to beat them. Fighting skills like his are rare, and he's one of the greatest fighters ever.
