Marvel fans are expressing their dissatisfaction over the CGI design for Tatiana Maslany's She-Hulk following the release of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law's first trailer.

The upcoming Disney+ series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will follow Maslany's Jennifer Walters as "she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk." Fans were quick to criticize the CGI presented in the trailer, in addition to complaining about the lack of muscles on She-Hulk.

Created by Stan Lee and John Buscema, Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk first appeared in 1980's Savage She-Hulk #1. In the comics, Walters transforms into She-Hulk after receiving an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner. This results in her gaining some of the same abilities as the Hulk, though she generally remains more in control of her personality. The character has served as a member of the Avengers and The Fantastic Four at various points in her decades-long comic background.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law was announced by Marvel Studios at the D23 conference in August 2019. Mark Ruffalo was the first actor to board the project in March 2020 with Maslany joining the series that September. She-Hulk will be part of Phase 4 of the MCU and the eighth television series from Marvel Studios to stream on Disney+. Kat Coiro and Anu Valia are attached as directors on the show.

In addition to Ruffalo and Maslany, the series features the return of Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/Abomination and Benedict Wong as Wong. Both characters were previously seen taking part in a secret fight club in 2021's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The cast also includes Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, David Otunga, Jon Bass and Renée Elise Goldsberry. Jamil has been confirmed to play the series' villain Titania. But she won't be the only other new supervillain in the show. The character Frog-Man is also set to appear in the series.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is set to premiere Aug. 17 on Disney+, with subsequent episodes dropping every Wednesday until Oct. 12. A second season has not yet been confirmed by Marvel Studios.
