In just three months, Avengers: Infinity War will release to the masses and mark the 10th anniversary of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What seemed like a simple Easter egg at the end of 2008's Iron Man has evolved into a global phenomenon, and although the enterprise has had its stumbles, it's maintained a building momentum since 2012's Avengers.
To celebrate the occasion, Marvel Studios took a massive "class photo" featuring the primary cast of each MCU film -- past, present and future -- along with the producers and directors. Appropriately massive, the picture was taken in October in secret on the set of Infinity War to commemorate the accomplishments of the MCU. There's also a behind-the-scenes video from the event.
The studio also announced a weekly sweepstakes in which fans can take a photo of themselves on Twitter or Instagram (or tweet their favorite memory) from the film of the week to win a chance to go on the set of the upcoming Captain Marvel, tickets to the Infinity War premiere, and more.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as the Falcon, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Tom Holland as Spider-Man, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Chris Pratt as Star Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Vin Diesel as Groot, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and Josh Brolin as Thanos. The film opens May 4.
