Todd McFarlane unveiled a new wave of DC Multiverse figures from his McFarlane Toys company.

The new figures include a Jokerized Nightwing and Green Lantern John Stewart. Nightwing is sporting his red-and-black costume from the New 52, while Stewart comes with accessories meant to resemble constructs formed by his Green Lantern ring. McFarlane showed off the figures on a Facebook video, as well as a sculpt of a figure for Superman's opposite Bizarro.

"McFarlane Toys is kicking it into high gear w/ more AWESOME DC Mulitverse figures coming for pre-order in March or April!" McFarlane wrote on Twitter. Upcoming figures in the DC Multiverse will be based on the Batman: Last Knight on Earth and Dark Nights: Death Metal comic series, as well as a Batman Beyond figure. The DC Multiverse action figures are often based on critically acclaimed comic series, with each wave featuring a Build-A-Figure comprised of parts included with the other figures.

During Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's run on Batman, Nightwing and the other members of the Bat-Family were kidnapped by The Joker during the "Death of the Family" arc, with the Clown Prince of Crime intending to kill them as he thought Batman's bond to his allies made him weak. Though The Joker tried to make Batman believe he had carved off the Bat-Family's faces, they ultimately broke free. John Stewart, meanwhile, is one of the most popular Green Lanterns, serving as a major figure in the Justice League animated series and the protagonist in the upcoming Green Lantern relaunch from Geoffery Thorne and Dexter Soy.
