McFarlane Toys is bringing a fan-favorite character to its DC Multiverse line of action figures.Todd McFarlane announced on his official Twitter and Facebook pages that the next figure would be of Terry McGinnis, star of the Batman Beyond animated series. "Look at THIS! McFarlane Toys is adding a 7" Batman from Batman Beyond the Animated Series to its DC Multiverse lineup in Spring 2021!" McFarlane wrote. He also posted an image of himself holding the Batman Beyond figure, which features McGinnis in his Batman costume.RELATED: Batman Beyond Documentary Explores the 'The Classic Nobody Wanted'

McFarlane also posted a video of him holding the figure to his Facebook page. "He's been done with other companies, but never this tall," McFarlane said while showcasing the details. The Batman Beyond figure comes with McGinnis' trademark retractable wings, and premium details including a utility belt and Bat-symbol.

Developed by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm alongside Glen Murakami, the animated series Batman Beyond takes place in a future Gotham City where Bruce Wayne has hung up his Batman suit. Terry McGinnis discovers Wayne's secret and eventually takes up the mantle of Batman to protect Gotham. Batman Beyond ran for three seasons and also served as the inspiration for several comic series from DC.

McFarlane Toys has created several figures based on DC's heroes for the DC Multiverse line. Upcoming figures will be based on the Dark Nights: Death Metal miniseries and Batman: Last Knight on Earth.

The Batman Beyond DC Multiverse figure will go on sale in Spring 2021 from McFarlane Toys.
