While those pansies down at the X mansion have a hard time dealing with the hard choices life sometimes forces you to make, the members of the X-Force recognize that sometimes lethal force is necessary. While their military contacts and experience may have you fooled, they have a tendency of being a little less than organized on most missions, which is totally fine when you don’t have to worry about things like a pesky human life or six. So let’s breakdown some of the X-force members from the comics and films to see just how exactly they prefer to get the job done. And as always, Kiddos, Maximum Effort.

7 7. Cable: The Executive - ESTJ

DEADPOOL 2 CABLE

While Cable may be from the future, he certainly has no qualms handling business the old fashioned way. Cable is one-half killing machine, and one-half techno-organic killing machine. Provides a healthy middle for sure. Cable isn't going to bounce around feelings or sensitivities or even acknowledge pleas for mercy. If the kid needs killing, then the kid is gonna get killed. Simple as that. No muss. No Fuss. Just that sweet sweet sense of a job well done. And maybe the return of a wife and daughter. But hey, Cable’s not a fussy guy. He’ll just as likely return to killing throughout time in the never-ending war for mutant-kind.

6 6. Domino: The Virtuoso - ISTP

When Domino is involved in the mission, you could be forgiven for maybe assuming that things are just going to work out. In fact, that sense is so ingrained that it has even become a major aspect of her personality. Despite her good luck, Domino is also an incredibly skilled hand-to-hand combatant, marksman, and all around talented mercenary.

She’s the type of person that probably could’ve done anything with her life due to her natural intelligence and a perceptiveness that often sees her several steps ahead of any opponent. The one fatal flaw in her character is really this reliance on her natural skills, which means she rarely commits to anything long-term and can often be very stubborn or insensitive.

5 5. Negasonic Teenage Warhead: The Virtuoso - ISTP

Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead

While she may not have Domino’s luck backing her up (most of the time), she certainly has the same level of confidence going into any situation. It may be the fact that she is just powerful enough to not really have to care too much unless something going majorly wrong. She is introverted, sarcastic and for the most part, just really unwilling to deal with any of Wade’s crap. Negasonic Teenage Warhead doesn’t really seem to concern herself with any sort of planning or preparation. She’s more of a show up whenever Colossus calls and hope it leads to something cool.

4 4. Colossus: The Defender - ISFJ

Stefan Kapicic as Colossus

It seems like maybe Colossus just gets stuck with some of the more troublesome mutants. Maybe that’s due to the fact that his moral compass is always pointing to true north. Colossus is likely paired with the most rebellious, and potentially most at risk, mutants.

While Wade is an extreme example of the mutants he’s expected to wrangle in, Negasonic Teenage Warhead can also be view through that same lens, only to a much lesser degree. Even though his exterior can appear rather tough and abrasive, Colossus is basically just a teddy bear wrapped in tin foil. He truly lives it when he says, “You don’t have to be a hero every moment of every day. Just a few moments”.

3 3. Wolverine: The Craftsman - ISTP

Wolverine

While there are already a few members of the X-Force that we’ve discussed with the same personality type as the most famous ISTP on this list, Logan, neither one of them has really developed in the way the Logan has been afforded the opportunity to. See, while Logan may have always been a naturally skilled fighter, tracker, and hunter, over the course of his many, many years on the planet earth he has been given the chance to grown beyond those natural skills and really begin to craft himself as an individual more well-rounded and caring than he may have been had he been born without a healing factor, or just lived a regular lifetime rather than the scores of the lifetimes he’s already lived.

2 2. Deadpool: The Debater - ENTP

I mean, he’s called the Merc with a Mouth for a reason. Wade Wilson will do just about anything to get himself out of a sketchy situation, the thing is, he rarely has to use any body parts other than his mouth. Should a situation require a little finesse, then he can always rely on his trusty guns, swords, knives, hand grenades, bombs, rabid ferret hopped up on Dayquil AND Nyquil or whatever else he may have just lying around.

Wade is also the kind of Merc that can see the light in any situation. He can always crack a joke, a smile or a couple of bones when he gets in it too deep, which is likely why he has so many people willing to follow him at the drop of a craigslist ad.

1 1. Peter: The Entertainer - ESFP

Peter-Deadpool-2-X-Force

Well, here it is fans! The moment you’ve all been waiting for. The true reason we all went to go see Deadpool 2 but let’s be honest, it may as well have been called “Peter: A Hero’s Tale”. Peter is the kinda guy that scrolls through a craigslist job posting and just says yes to life. While Peter may have a habit of jumping into things head-first without really thinking about the consequences of his actions, things typically tend to work out alright for him. So whether it’s joining a superhero team for the fun of it (much like another guy fans may know who’s also a hero for fun) or jumping out of a plane on an exciting mission almost immediately following that, it’s hard to see how Ryan Reynolds even got a Deadpool film off the ground when there was clearly more substantial characters to cover.
