The Myers-Briggs personality test has been used by many fans of different series to find out just what kind of person their favorite heroes and villains equate to. Many times in the real world these personality types are linked to people through a question-filled interview. However, when it comes to these characters of fiction, these indications must be found simply by knowing the character and recognizing just which type they connect to.
The ENFP personality type is one of the 16 Myers-Briggs or MBTI® personality types that goes to only the most charismatic, enthusiastic, and creative characters there are. Those that fall under this type are usually categorized as full of life, charming, and very independent. While these seem like strictly superhero traits, there are actually many Marvel villains that fall under this type.
10 Dormammu
The Dread Dormammu is one of the most feared entities in the Marvel Universe and is often a large burning thorn in the side of the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Stephen Strange. While this villain's look may not spit charisma, enthusiasm, or creativity those three traits are some that define him more than most.
The lord of the Dark Dimension uses these three traits to come up with new plots to further his goals, and being the God of his own dimension puts him in a position to be forced to be creative.
9 Doctor Doom
Another character that visually doesn't shout ENFP personality type is Victor Von Doom, better known simply as Doctor Doom. Doom is actually one of the most creative and innovative characters of Marvel, pushing the world to new bounds and his enemies to their brink when locked in combat with him.
ENFP is said to define those who do best when they are free to be creative and nothing describes Doom more than that. While he may not have the charming look, many times this is the first impression he brings about when he wants, as seen when he almost woo'd Storm over.
8 Thanos
Thanos is one of the most feared characters in the world of Marvel. He is determined, a master strategist, and manipulator. He is also a model ENFP of the entire universe of the comic company.
Thanos's enthusiasm and creativity are almost unmatched. These traits, among others, are two of the reasons he can do almost anything he sets his mind to which is what makes this mad titan so scary to anyone he encounters when on his mission. Sadly this creativity and enthusiasm are always on the side of evil, or what Thanos believes is right.
7 Carnage
A psychopath like Cletus Kasady literally has to be enthusiastic and creative to excel in what he excels in. His alter-ego is the murderous symbiote Carnage who creatively scares and kills any of his targets whenever he gets the chance.
Like Thanos, Carnage definitely is charismatic, enthusiastic, and creative but for all the wrong, if not the worst reasons.
6 Electro
Maxwell Dillon is one of Spider-Man's worst and strongest villains. This iconic enemy has some of the most powerful abilities in all of Marvel, being able to control electricity and even become electric power himself.
Of course, one with electric powers would have to be creative in order to use this power at its fullest potential and Electro delivers here and more.
5 Venom
Eddie Brock is Earth's most prolific user of the alien symbiote costume and depending on the writer, one of the most enthusiastic and charismatic.
Unlike most characters that fall under the ENFP category in Marvel, Venom's categorizing under this type strictly depends on who's writing him at the time, as many other times he shows up as the complete opposite of this personality type.
4 Black Cat
No one would expect one of the best cat burglars to be anything but creative. That's one thing a thief is going to need if they're going to steal from the likes of powerful lords such as the Kingpin.
However, not being a cat burglar doesn't mean one has to have the charm Felicia Hardy has, and that is reflected in her interactions with Spider-Man.
3 Green Goblin
No one would expect Norman Osborn to be a charming and energetic individual in the way his evil alter-ego, Green Goblin is. While Norman may have these traits in his pocket for business, the Goblin side of him takes them to the next level.
The Green Goblin may not be the variety of ENFP that many would be comfortable being around, but he still greatly reflects this personality type.
2 Loki
Opposite of Norman Osborn, literally anyone and everyone could recognize Loki as being one of the biggest ENFPs in the pages of Marvel Comics.
Being the God of mischief means manipulating and creating the best outcome for yourself with a great plan. Loki has to be charming and creative, it's in the job description.
1 Mysterio
Mysterio is another character that has to be charming, creative, and enthusiastic in his job description. Being an entertainer forces him to become an ENFP.
However, Quentin Beck's new villainous persona, Mysterio, has forced him to take these traits to the next level.
