The MBTI® personality type of ENFJ is one that most anime fans are 100 percent familiar with no matter what series they have gone through. The ENFJ personality type is quite literally translated into the term, "The Protagonist". Those that fall under this personality type are extraverted and have feeling, judgy, and warm personality traits.

Space Dandy headlines the anime, Space Dandy, produced by bones and directed by Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo influential series director, Shinchiro Watanabe. Whi`le Dandy may not seem like he falls under the ENFJ type at first, it's easy to see that he's easier to crack than most.

Dandy is an extremely loud individual that many times ends up helping out complete strangers in need. This is the case as early as the second episode. Dandy may many times seem to be self-absorbed but he always puts his needs aside to help out others.

Viewtiful Joe of the videogame anime adaptation, Viewtiful Joe is the epitome of the ENFJ type. His entire personality is worshipping a superhero by the name of Captain Blue, who he wishes to be like more than anyone else. This pushes Viewtiful Joe to get sucked into the movie world and become the hero he was born to be.

Throughout the series, Joe saves countless people and becomes the true protagonist, surpassing even the likes of Captain Blue with his creative use of his new movie-based slow, speed, VFX, SFX, and zoom superpowers.

8 Devilman

Akira Fudo was born weak, but that didn't stop him from becoming one of the most selfless heroes on the planet. He's always been the type to defend those that needed it, leading to him getting beat up and bullied on more than one occasion.

This was pushed even further when he fused with the demon Amon and became Devilman. With this power he put himself forward as the defender of Earth from demons and themselves. He tasks himself with inspiring good in the world despite the demon invasion even though it seems to be a futile effort.

7 Masayoshi Hazama

Masayoshi Hazama is a relatively successful model but puts that all to the side to become the face of the helpless, becoming the titular hero, Samurai Flamenco. Samurai Flamenco was created by Hazama to inspire hope in the hopeless.

Like most ENFJs, he wants to bring the good out of everyone, even though he really has no idea to go about it and gets himself wrapped up in one of the craziest series out there throughout his growing adventures.

6 Monkey D. Luffy

The leader of the Straw Hat Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy is probably the biggest ENFJ out there. He literally falls perfectly into every classification of the type. Luffy is one of the most inspirational loud mouths in anime and constantly shows his creativity in his journey to become king of the pirates.

When it comes to guiding those around him to become the best them they can be Luffy is at the top. All the evidence he needs for this is showcased throughout the entirety of the One Piece series, with Luffy having a lasting effect on everyone he meets.

5 Bulma

While she wasn't originally such an ENFJ, being in contact with Goku for so long must have rubbed off on her. Bulma is one of the most giving "protagonists" out there. Throughout the Dragon Ball series Miss Briefs constantly is out on the front line doing whatever she can to help her friends out.

While not being as successful as Goku at it, she does try to push others to be better people. However, this is usually simply done by her losing her temper and yelling at them.

4 Kintaro Oe

Kintaro Oe is the main character of the hilarious anime, Golden Boy. This anime is basically ENFJ the story. Kintaro and his insanely loud personality basically wander around Japan with him looking for a job, basically taking his amazing prowess around and leaving a lasting impact on everyone.

Kintaro is a fairly irregular ENFJ, as at first glance he never comes off as helpful at all. The greatness he has usually doesn't become apparent until he disappears from his last odd job.

3 Maka Albarn

Maka Albarn is a character that had to grow into the ENFJ personality type through a lot of hardships. In the beginning Maka can be somewhat seen as selfish due to her bad family upbringing and misunderstanding of her father.

However, Maka grows to be an amazing protagonist and becomes an inspiration to just about everyone at her academy.

2 Uraraka Ochaco

Ochaco may not be the true protagonist of My Hero Academia, but that doesn't stop her from being another ENFJ. Ochaco is an inspirational individual and actually may be a bigger ENFJ than Deku.

Ochaco is seen as a beacon of inspiration to many at the school. Without her Deku wouldn't be nearly as successful as he is now.

1 Kaban

Kaban of Kemono Friends is a human that has to aid an advanced evolution of animals. She uses her creativity to overcome her human shortcomings and achieve everything that she needs with inspiration from her animal friends.

This in turn inspires everyone around her that she meets during her journey. She goes from being shy to becoming the hero of Japari Park.
