Two new clips have arrived for "Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials," the sequel to last year's dystopian sci-fi blockbuster.

In the first, a panicked Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) hurries to rally the other Gladers in the dormitory to flee the fast-approaching Janson (Aiden Gillen) and his men. In the second, extended clip, Thomas and the Gladers are brought before Jorge (Giancarlo Esposito), the leader of a group of Cranks.

Based on the second novel in James Dashner’s bestselling young-adult dystopian trilogy, “The Scorch Trials” picks ups with Thomas and his fellow Gladers faced with their greatest challenge yet: searching for clues about the mysterious and powerful organization known as WCKD. Their journey takes them to the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Teaming up with resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD’s vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans for them all.

Directed by Wes Ball, “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” also stars Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Ki Hong Lee, Patricia Clarkson, Rosa Salazar, Jacob Lofland, Giancarlo Esposito and Lili Taylor. The film opens Sept. 18.
