WARNING: The following article contains spoilers for Mayans M.C. Season 4, Episode 6, "When I Die, I Want Your Hands on My Eyes," which aired Tuesday on FX.After seemingly losing his child with Adelita, Angel Reyes has been collapsing in on himself. At the end of Mayans M.C. Season 3, there seemed to be some hope for him though, as he embarked on a relationship with Nails, who was pregnant with their child. However, the latest episode of Mayans M.C. Season 4, "When I Die, I Want Your Hands on My Eyes," has Angel do something truly terrible, and it's likely to damage his life in a profound way.

At the end of last week's episode of Mayans M.C. Season 4, "Death of the Virgin," the Sons of Anarchy killed Coco during an attack on Oakland during a celebration honoring those who'd died in the titular club's civil war. In "When I Die, I Want Your Hands on My Eyes," all the club members react in different ways, though they generally agree they want to get revenge on those who perpetrated the attack. Gilly, who was close with Coco, begins drinking heavily, so when Angel approaches saying they should talk to Coco's daughter, Letty, and his girlfriend, Hope, he's unable to go. Instead, Angel goes to visit Letty alone. He finds Coco's house trashed, presumably by Letty in her grief. Eventually, they start cleaning up the place together and Letty kisses Angel. He reciprocates, and two seemingly have sex. As that's going on, Nails miscarries, blaming the fact she had to move a ladder while painting earlier in the day.

There's a lot to breakdown when it comes to just how awful what Angel's behavior is. Firstly, it's difficult to not see him as taking advantage of Letty, who is emotionally distraught following the death of her father. Secondly, Angel has been massively neglectful of Nails during her pregnancy, which may have contributed to her miscarriage. At one point, he told EZ that he was avoiding Nails because he was afraid of messing their child up, and he's clearly still grieving his child with Adelita. Still, Angel chose to cheat on Nails with Letty, and that's certain to cause massive problems for them in the future. In this situation, Angel is certainly not the good guy.

Making matters worse is that Mayans M.C. have revealed that his child with Adelita is actually alive. Adelita has even recovered the child, and there's a good chance she's going to meet up with Angel at some point in the future. When that reunion does happen, Angel seems likely to abandon Nails entirely for Adelita, as there are a lot of indications -- including the aforementioned neglect -- that he doesn't really want to be in a relationship with her. That being said, there's no guarantee Adelita will even take Angel back, especially when she knows just what he's been doing since she's been gone. While there are certainly twists that could happen, Angel's treatment of Nails has already been deplorable, and it's unlikely to get better as the season progresses.RELATED: Mayans M.C. Continues to Pay Tribute to Late Pavia Actor Roel NavarroAll of this behavior is part of Angel's self-destructive pattern. The Santo Padre charter member has a lot of work to do on himself, but rather than really confront his issues, Angel continues to destroy the people he should care about the most. If Angel doesn't turn from his ways soon, he might find his life in a state of complete and utter disrepair. And with nothing to live for, the Mayans M.C.'s upcoming war with the Sons of Anarchy could prove very, very bad for Angel.

New episodes of Mayans M.C. air Tuesdays on FX. The next episode of the series, "Dialogue with the Mirror," releases on May 24.
