The Battle Between the Sons of Anarchy and Mayans Intensifies

After the events of last episode, EZ finds himself dreaming about the beautiful and horrifying moments from his relationship with Gaby. He soon goes to the butcher shop owned by his father, Felipe Reyes. There, EZ tells Felipe that Gaby is dead and says he finally knows who he is. EZ believes that he's a force of destruction. This angers Felipe, who talks about how disappointed EZ's mother would be, and the biker agrees. EZ soon leaves, and Felipe breaks down crying. EZ also talks to Angel Reyes, who apologizes for putting him in such a bad situation.

Later, at temple, Marcus Alvarez gathers the Mayans together to plan for their next move against the Sons of Anarchy, who have been attacking club members. Alvarez greenlights a devastating attack designed to destroy the San Bernardino charter and make the Sons of Anarchy think twice about any future retribution. However, Alvarez himself doesn't participate in the attack, as the other Mayans leaders say he's too valuable to lose. Canche, the leader of the Yuma Mayans, chooses to go with Santo Padre in Alvarez's place.

Season 4, Episode 7, "Dialogue With the Mirror," Recap & SpoilersThe Mayans catch a number of San Bernardino charter members by surprise and even sneak into the chapter's compound for a sneak attack. The Santo Padre Mayans come out on top against the San Bernardino club, though several members are injured. Bishop also almost dies, but Taza saves him.

As they're stripping kuttes from the Sons of Anarchy members, EZ goes into the charter's chapel and shoots one of the members hiding there. Canche comes in to back him. EZ then turns on Yuma Mayan, saying, "I caught you slippin'," which echoes Canche's words from earlier in the season. EZ then shoots Canche in the head. Angel comes in just after the shooting.

EZ expresses sympathy to Manny regarding Canche's death. He then advises the Yuma Mayan to try and get promoted to vice president of his club, since leadership will be changing following Canche's death. There's a definite sense that Manny suspects EZ of playing some part in Canche's death.

Bishop and Taza also clear the air, with the latter saying he no longer owes the former for not letting him shoot himself the night he confessed to Riz's murder. Creeper also brings Kody to the party, and they drink with Bishop. Later, Creeper tells Kody he'd like her to be his girlfriend one day, and she indicates that she's open to that possibility.

The war between the Sons of Anarchy and Mayans also creates some blow back for Jess, who gave San Bernardino Sons of Anarchy member Terry the kutte that kicked off the fight.

Jazmine ambushes Jess and yells at her about how Terry was shot during the Mayans' attack last episode. Apparently, Terry's sponsor has returned as a result of the attack, and everyone is terrified of him. Just who he is isn't made clear. Jess tells Jaz she should leave Terry because of his bad behavior, but she refuses. Instead, Jaz threatens Jess, telling her she'll reveal how she sold out the Mayans if she doesn't do exactly what the Sons of Anarchy want.

One of the major subplots in "The Righteous Wrath of an Honorable Man" involves Angel and Adelita reuniting and trying to raise their child together. Adelita becomes clearly frustrated her baby can't breastfeed, and she soon confesses to feeling like she must be broken after all the bad things she's done and that have happened to her. She calls herself a monster and says, by killing the people who were raising him earlier in Mayans M.C. Season 4, she's perpetuating the same trauma she experienced. Angel, though, says their job is to protect their child to keep him from ending up like them. Angel also says that, if Adelita leaves again, he's keeping their baby.

Elsewhere, Emily Galindo flees work when someone arrives looking for her. She gets a bus ticket and takes a bag from a locker. The bag holds a lot of money and a new passport and driver's license. She boards the bus for Covington, Kentucky, where her son and sister are.

Finally, Gilly brings Rae and her son to stay at his house after her husband, Paul, nearly got the boy to kill him earlier in Mayans M.C. Season 4. They end up having a talk in which they talk about their time in the military, and Rae reveals that, while in Mosul, they killed a family. Rae takes responsibility for what happened, but Gilly explodes in anger. Later, he sleeps in his car with his gun held close.

Mayans M.C. finally pays of one of the biggest subplots of "The Righteous Wrath of an Honorable Man" with Lobos New Generation Cartel leader El Banquero. At the start of the episode, El Banquero's mother dies. This leads him to a breakdown in which he confronts his sister, Soledad, and says that he's taking sole control of the cartel. He'll no longer cooperate with her, and says that, if he lets her live, he'll lock her away from the world.

Soledad, though, has other plans. At the end of "The Righteous Wrath of an Honorable Man," it's revealed she abducted Miguel Galindo at the start of last week's episode of Mayans M.C. As the episode ends, Soledad says the two of them need to talk, foreshadowing an alliance between the two.
