With cameras at long last ready to roll next week on his fourth Jason Bourne film -- the fifth in the Universal Pictures franchise -- star Matt Damon has pulled back the curtain, just a bit, on the action thriller.

“Without giving too much of it away, it’s Bourne through an austerity-riddled Europe and in a post-Snowden world,” Damon, who co-wrote the film with director Paul Greengrass and Christopher Rouse, told BuzzFeed. “It seems like enough has changed, you know? There are all these kinds of arguments about spying and civil liberties and the nature of democracy."

The actor teased that the untitled film begins in Greece, "you know, the beginning of democracy," and ends in Las Vegas, but wouldn't offer any more clues about its locations.

Opening July 29, 2016, "Bourne 5" also stars Julia Stiles, Alicia Vikander and Tommy Lee Jones.
