Last week, DC Comics revealed Jim Lee’s variant cover for “Justice League” #12 revealing Superman and Wonder Woman and the new power couple of the DCU. To shed some further insight on the dating lives of the super powered duo, has posted the online dating profiles of the two heroes and the results are revealing, to say the least.

The dating profiles have a number of in-jokes, with Superman referring to the Fortress of Solitude as “a pretty sweet man cave” and Wonder Woman playing up her rather interesting history by explaining, “I had a mythical winged horse once but it magically turned into my invisible jet.” Both heroes identify their faith as “spiritual but not religious” and identify their idea of a great date as “Live Music/Concerts” — but only on Thursday evenings. Perhaps most interesting is Wonder Woman’s idea of fun which seems to out her as a “Twilight” fan: “Battling for Justice! Stamping out inequality! Romance novels about vampires.” also asked its Chief Scientific Advisor Dr. Helen Fisher to weigh in on the relationship and whether or not it could succeed. While her declaration may be at odds with some longtime fans’ reactions, DC is surely heartened by her analysis.

“Superman and Wonder Woman are a classic match, as a very high testosterone male and a very high estrogen female,” Dr. Fisher said. “They also have many cultural and biological traits that will fuel their romance. People also tend to fall in love with those of the same background.  Although Superman comes from a different planet, while Wonder Woman harks from an isolated island, both are aliens to our modern world. More important, Superman and Wonder Woman share the same values and goals: They are both dedicated to truth and justice and both fight evil to save the good — traits shared by both the high testosterone and high estrogen type. Lastly, both value independence.”

While the dating website also revealed that single women on find Superman “the most kissable hero,” much more notable is the reveal of the first in-issue kiss between the two Justice Leaguers as depicted by series artist Jim Lee.

With Superman in a relationship with Wonder Woman, it seems unlikely that he’ll get together with his pre-“Flashpoint” wife, Lois Lane — especially considering she’s in a relationship with Jonathan Carroll, who had his shirtless introduction in “Superman” #1.
