The Masters of the Universe franchise dominated every kid's life from 1981 for a number of years and has maintained a consistent fanbase ever since. The series has been adapted to virtually every medium going, with toys, multiple animated series, comics, and a live-action Hollywood film to choose from.

The characters were recently featured in a fun crossover with DC's Injustice universe, allowing He-Man and his supporting cast to square off against various evil versions of iconic heroes such as Superman and Wonder Woman. While that encounter was violent in nature, it's easy to imagine that He-Man would get along with various other heroes, particularly from the world of movies.

10 Superman Would Be An Incredible Ally

Christopher Reeve As Superman

Outside of the Injustice incarnation of the character, Superman is probably the most well-known superhero of all time and the 1978 take on the character is especially well-loved. This Superman, as portrayed by Christopher Reeve over four films, is the version of the hero that usually comes to mind for most people.

Should he have found his way into the MOTU conflict, he would likely have made an instant ally of He-Man and provided a potentially unstoppable threat to Skeletor and his minions. Coincidentally enough, the fourth Superman film and the MOTU 1987 feature were released in the same year and created by the same production company.

9 Luke Skywalker Faced A Similar Struggle

The conflicts featured in the MOTU universe and that of Star Wars are not entirely different, and the similarities between the two would allow for heroes on both sides to be a valuable help to the other. Perhaps no one would be as crucial to helping He-Man and his friends as the legendary Jedi hero, Luke Skywalker.

Luke's experiences would be of huge help and in the aftermath of Return of the Jedi, he's already helped defeat an intergalactic threat and save countless lives. Whether this appearance from Luke would be the younger or older iteration, he would be able to bring something major to the fight.

8 Wonder Woman Could Lead The Fight Against Skeletor

Wonder Woman ready to fight

The DC Extended Universe's version of Wonder Woman is an incredibly fierce warrior and capable of taking on hulking monsters such as Doomsday on her own. With her long lifespan, she has had time to train for every possible battle and this knowledge would make her a prime candidate to not only fight by He-Man's side but maybe even lead his forces herself.

Even her outfit makes her an obvious fit for the world of Eternia, so she'd look right at home on the frontline next to He-Man, Teela, and the rest. Skeletor probably wouldn't consider Wonder Woman to be much of a threat until it's far, far too late.

7 Optimus Prime Could Overwhelm The Enemy Forces

Optimus Prime from Dark of the Moon

Like He-Man, Optimus Prime believes in striving for peace but preparing for war. He is a noble being with a strong moral code and a sense of friendship that would easily align his interests with those of He-Man's. Also, like the hero of Eternia, Prime can bring the heat when he has to.

His considerable size and power would help him decimate Skeletor's forces if he was pushed, and who would be able to resist looking cooler by hitching a ride in Prime's alternate truck mode and charging into battle. The villains would never know what hit them after Prime rolls out.

6 Captain America Is Very Much Like He-Man

Captain Rogers in MCU

The Marvel Cinematic Universe's take on Captain America is possibly the closest thing the MCU has to He-Man, and the two would make for an unbeatable double-act. Both have incredibly strong moral compasses and are selfless heroes who will stop at nothing to defeat evil and save those in need.

The two could even relate due to having experience as weaker versions of themselves, and this helps them both understand the value of the power they now have. Skeletor and his army would be wise to think twice before challenging that particular combo of sword and shield... and possibly hammer?

5 Thor Can Relate To Prince Adam Better Than Most

Thor, the son of Odin, has more than a few similarities to He-Man and his alter ego, Prince Adam. He too has had to contend with his status as a prince and potential future king while also keeping his people safe through dangerous combat. Plus, the two could probably pass as brothers.

Thor's powers and determination would turn the tide in any battle, and the imagery of him summoning an incredible amount of lightning over Castle Grayskull would be something to behold. It also probably goes without saying, but the hero of Eternia would surely be a worthy contender to lift a certain Mjolnir.

4 Spider-Man Could Charm His Way Into Any Friend Group

The friendly neighborhood Spider-Man would surely feel out of his depth if he ever found himself in Eternia, but it's not like he hasn't helped defend the universe on an alien world from the Mad Titan himself, Thanos. His next cinematic outing will even see him dealing with a multiverse threat, so who's to say this scenario couldn't happen in a comic spin-off?

Peter Parker's natural charm and wit would quickly endear him to the heroes of Eternia, none more so than He-Man himself. This would surely lead to the warrior seeking to ensure Peter's protection and perhaps a hesitation to letting him into the heat of battle, but his abilities would be too helpful to turn down.

3 Aragorn Is King For Good Reason

Aragorn from The Lord of the Rings

Middle-earth is hardly dissimilar to Eternia, and it takes a whole other group of selfless heroes to stop the forces of evil led by the Dark Lord Sauron. One hero stands out from the rest, especially when his true origins are revealed. Aragorn is an heir in exile, the future king of Gondor.

Aragorn and He-Man perhaps wouldn't become instant BFFs, but should they fight side by side for a time, no doubt mutual respect would form. Being from similar environments would be a great help for any team-up and avoid the confusion that the likes of Marvel or DC heroes may face.

2 The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Would Bring Something New To The Table

The wise-cracking crime-fighting group known as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles can be an unstoppable squad when playing to their strengths (and not arguing amongst themselves). Each of these heroes in a half-shell has the potential to be a powerful ally and friend to He-Man.

Perhaps the most obvious of the bunch would be Leonardo, the noble leader of the group. There may be times when a little more aggression is required, and that's Raphael's time to shine. Whatever the case, the Ninja Turtles are ready to fight, and when it comes to downtime, they can introduce He-Man and the others to the joys of pizza.

1 Aquaman's Command Of The Ocean Would Be Invaluable

Jason Momoa Aquaman Eyes

Arthur Curry, better known of course as the Aquaman, Atlantis' king and the ruler of DC's oceans. His power cannot be understated and even on land, his physical strength and endurance are more than enough to take on immense threats. The DCEU version of the hero may not be quick to friendship, but he can't always hide his soft spot for fellow fighters.

Aquaman and He-Man alone would feel confident in taking the fight straight to Skeletor's front door. However, if they did so with the combined might of their mutual friends and forces, then the villains of Eternia would be better off packing their bags and finding somewhere else to settle because these heroes wouldn't be stopped.
