Voice work on Masters of the Universe: Revelation has officially reached completion. On the latest episode of the Fatman Beyond podcast, Kevin Smith discussed the process.

"I did recording today remotely for Masters of the Universe — all the recording sessions now you have one person here, one person here, and one person there," Smith said. "The other day, we finished Lena Headey's stuff, which was awesome. She's over in the UK, so it was early in the morning for us, like 8 a.m. but whatever time it is over there. I could just listen to her all fucking day long, man. She just brings it and chews that fucking dialogue and makes it so good. Think of anyone in your life, have them say 'wretched,' and she beats them.'

Smith also gave praise to Stephen Root, Chris Wood, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Mark Hamill for their voice work. "I've heard the last line of the show, so it's been fantastic,” he said, indicating that the VoiceOver work is completed. Smith serves as showrunner and producer on the series, which will pick up where the original Masters of the Universe series left off. His Fatman Beyond co-host Marc Bernardin also serves as a writer on the series. Powerhouse Studios is animating the series for Netflix; no official release date has been set for the series premiere.
