'Masters of the Universe' Gets 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'-Style Trailer

In 1987, Canon Films released "Masters of the Universe," starring Dolph Lundgren before he knew how to speak English. Along with facing numerous production hurdles and major budget issues, the film turned out to be more of a B-movie than epic space opera, as some might have hoped.

Well, now you can imagine "Masters of the Universe" was something amazing as a fan has recut scenes from the film to John Williams' score from "Star Wars" -- resulting in a pretty awesome trailer.

Check out Michael Furth's "Force Awakens"-inspired cut of the "Masters of the Universe" trailer below:

"Masters of the Universe" is available for instant streaming on Netflix, while "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is in theaters now.
