Fans have been eagerly awaiting their first look at Emily Blunt's portrayal of the classic enigmatic nanny Mary Poppins. Now, it's finally arrived, thanks to the first official teaser trailer for Disney's Mary Poppins Returns.

Although we don't see or hear much of Blunt in the footage, her silhouette descending from the cloudy skies of London by way of her iconic umbrella certainly conjures up some magical nostalgia for fans of the original 1964 film.

Set in Depression-era London, the film follows the adult lives of Michael (Whishaw) and Jane Banks (Mortimer), the children from Mary Poppins. According to Deadline, “After Michael suffers a personal loss, the nanny Mary Poppins (Blunt) re-enters the lives of the Banks family, and, along with the optimistic street lamplighter Jack (Miranda), uses her magical skills to help the family rediscover the joy and wonder missing in their lives.” Meryl Streep will play Mary’s eccentric cousin Topsy.

Directed and produced by Rob Marshall (Chicago), Mary Poppins Returns stars Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Colin Firth, Meryl Streep and Dick Van Dyke, who starred in the original. The film hits theaters nationwide Dec. 25.
