The second season of Marvel's Spider-Man will swing to TV this summer. Marvel.com announced the series will return to Disney XD on Monday, June 18 at 6:30 pm ET. To mark the occasion, the season will open with a one-hour premiere, followed by new episodes every Monday night through August.

Set during Peter Parker's sophomore year, Season 2 will see our hero balance his life as Spider-Man with being a student at Horizon High and an employee at the Daily Bugle. Throughout the season, Spider-Man and his friends will meet new heroes and villains, who will be voiced by guest actors such as Descendants stars Sofia Carson and Booboo Stewart, NASCAR racer Ryan Blaney and social media star Teala Dunn.

The first season of Spider-Man ended with Peter and Harry Osborn working together to defeat Norman Osborn after he became the Hobgoblin. Though Norman apparently died, Harry discovered a stockpile of his dad's Green Goblin technology, while Spider-Man became the unofficial mascot of Horizon High. The season will also adapt the Superior Spider-Man storyline from the comics, which saw Doctor Octopus hijack Spidey's body for a couple of months.

Premiering Monday, June 18 on Disney XD, Marvel's Spider-Man Season 2 stars Robbie Daymond, Laura Bailey, Nadji Jeter, Melanie Minichino, Max Mittelman, Scott Menville and Josh Keaton.
