Miles' mother, Rio Morales, is leading an election rally when a fight breaks out between the evil Roxxon energy corporation and the Tinkerer's high-tech criminal army called the Underground. Once the terrorist group attacks, the fight spills out to a nearby bridge, sending the young Spider-Man into action. Fans get a look at Miles' unique fighting style, as he uses his invisibility and venom blast to attack opponents. One of the more dramatic moments of the gameplay trailer featured Miles saving various bystanders once the structural integrity of the bridge was compromised.

PlayStation's blog confirmed shortly after Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales's trailer debut that the game "supports a next-gen upgrade path, so even if you aren’t ready to upgrade to PS5 just yet, there’s nothing stopping you from buying the PS4 version and enjoying the game alongside everyone else. While it doesn’t have the enhancements made possible by the console in the PS5 version, the game still looks beautiful on PS4 and PS4 Pro, and you can rest easy that when you do make the jump to PS5, the game comes with you."

Developed by Insomniac Games and PlayStation Studios, Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be available on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 this holiday season.
