Even as Sony and Disney's Spider-Man drama rages on, PlayStation has announced Marvel's Spider-Man will re-release as a Game of the Year Edition.

The re-release of the award-winning game will include the original game, along with all three chapters of Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps. Gamers can purchase either the full Game of the Year Edition or just The City That Never Sleeps if they already own the base game.

PlayStation is tying the game's re-release to its first anniversary. "We’re honored to mark the one-year anniversary of the game with this new Game of the Year Edition," the PlayStation team wrote in a blog post. "We hope that some of you who maybe haven’t had the chance to experience Marvel’s Spider-Man can now swing into all of the amazing Spidey action with the complete package."

Spider-Man's run so far has been spectacular, to say the least. Since its release last year, the game has become the fastest-selling superhero game, along with one of PS4's best-selling games of all time.
