Captain America will face off against Red Hulk in an upcoming issue of the Star-Spangled Avenger's solo series.

Plot details for the issue were scarce in the Marvel December solicitations, with the description only reading, "RED HULK." The issue will be written by Ta-Nehisi Coates and illustrated by Leonard Kirk. The cover comes from Alex Ross.

The book will also feature a Knullified variant cover by Julian Totino Tedesco. Tedesco's Captain America variant is one of many Knullified editions coming later this year in honor of the King in Black event. Other series getting special crossover covers include Black Cat, Black Widow, Captain Marvel, Conan the Barbarian, Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider: Return of Vengeance, Thor, Venom and X-Men.

The latest issue of Captain America introduced a new version of Iron Patriot in the form of an aged Sharon Carter. She now leads the Daughters of Liberty, which includes Shuri and Agatha Harkness.

Captain America #26 goes on sale this December.
