Marvel's Midnight Suns seems poised to finally give fans an in-depth look at Robbie Reyes' Ghost Rider and his hellish abilities.

In the lead-up to its launch in December, Marvel's Midnight Suns has posted multiple videos looking at the history and abilities of its starting roster of heroes. One of the only holdouts has been Ghost Rider, a major fan-favorite character from the comics. Midnight Suns finally teased such a look with a short Hero Spotlight video today, showing cinematics and some gameplay footage for the Robbie Reyes incarnation of Ghost Rider. While it did not confirm any of Ghost Rider's abilities, posting a Hero Spotlight on the character means a Character Deep Dive, which showcases gameplay and skills, is right around the corner.

Marvel's Midnight Suns' Massive Roster

Ghost Rider joins an extensive list of classic Marvel heroes available to play at the game's launch, including Blade, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Magik, Nico Minoru, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man and Wolverine. Along with those from the comics, Marvel's Midnight Suns includes a brand-new character specifically for the game called the Hunter, a customizable hero and the child of the game's main villain -- the Mother of Demons, Lilith. Reportedly, the game also includes a thus-far unnamed 13th hero at launch.

Some believed the character could be Deadpool after the Merc with a Mouth "took over" Marvel's Midnight Suns' official Twitter account to convince the developers to add him to the game. Ultimately, this led to the reveal that Deadpool, Storm, Venom and Morbius will join the rosters in a DLC sometime after the game's launch. Many fans expressed enthusiasm over the unique designs of the characters, with Morbius in particular gaining a lot of attention for a perceived "sexy" interpretation.

Marvel's Midnight Suns Multiple Launch Delays

The upcoming title became somewhat infamous for receiving multiple delays just months or weeks ahead of a scheduled launch. Initially planned for release in March 2022, publishers Firaxis pushed it back in November 2021 without a new date. It eventually announced a new October release with a cinematic trailer during Summer Games Fest 2022 but delayed the game again just a few months later. Marvel's Midnight Suns finally settled on a launch date with another cinematic trailer, this time at D23, with the game planned for December.

Marvel's Midnight Suns launches on most platforms, including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on Dec. 2, 2022.
