Marvel's Midnight Suns seemingly teased the addition of Deadpool to the roster in the upcoming action RPG.

A new video for Marvel's Midnight Suns on its official YouTube channel shows the Merc with a Mouth in a glitchy home movie talking about the upcoming game. He notes that fans seem eager to see other characters, such as Moon Knight, join the team of Marvel supers and anti-heroes, but haven't shown enough eagerness to see him. Then he asks fans to tell developer 2K and the Marvel's Midnight Suns team to add him to the game with the hashtag #deadpoolsuns.

So far, the announced roster consists of Blade, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, Iron Man, Magik, Nico Minoru, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man and Wolverine. Gamers also play a brand new, customizable hero called The Hunter, the child of the Mother of Demons, Lilith. Reportedly, Marvel's Midnight Suns has 13 heroes to choose from, which means the team has thus far kept one a secret. Some fans predicted it might be Moon Knight, who's gained a resurgence of popularity since the successful eponymous show on Disney+ for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With a fully voiced Deadpool now teased by the team, it seems the Merc with a Mouth might be the mysterious 13th member of the team.

Apart from Lilith's role as the primary antagonist, plot details about Marvel's Midnight Suns remain scarce. For a time, fans thought it might share some similarities with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, given the presence of the Darkhold and hints that the Scarlet Witch plays both a hero and a villain in the game. However, creative lead Jake Solomon clarified the rumors, calling it a "complete coincidence" that they share any parallels.

Marvel's Midnight Suns launches on most platforms, including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on Dec. 2, 2022.
