If the surprise appearance Saturday at New York Comic Con by the stars of "Marvel's The Defenders" -- not to mention Sigourney Weaver -- wasn't enough for fans, the heroes also united backstage for some team photos.
"Jessica Jones" star Krysten Ritter and "Iron Fist" star Finn Jones shared selfies with "Daredevil's" Charlie Cox and "Luke Cage's" Mike Colter taken behind the scenes at the panel, where Oscar nominee Sigourney Weaver was announced as the crossover's villain.
"No. Big. Deal," Ritter wrote in the comment accompanying the photo. "#TheDefenders unite."
Speaking of Weaver, Ritter also shared a photo of herself with the actress, noting, "and I've worked with her before!!!! Ahhh!!!" The two previously starred together in director Amy Heckerling's "Vamps,"a 2012 comedy horror film about socialite vampires living it up in New York City.
With production wrapped on "Iron Fist," which debuts March, 17, 2017, on Netflix, filming is expected to begin next month on "The Defenders." Shooting is already under way on "The Punisher," starring Jon Bernthal, Deborah Ann Woll, Ben Barnes, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Amber Rose Revah.
