Writer Greg Pak had teased that his run on Star Wars: Darth Vader will tie into Star Wars: The Rise of SkywalkerNow, it seems possible that the upcoming seventh issue of the series will make good on that promise.

"Pain leads to anger and anger leads to an element from Episode IV," the synopsis for Star Wars: Darth Vader #7 reads. However, it seems this could possibly be a typo and the issue will actually tie in to Episode IX (The Rise of Skywalker), given not only Pak's previous comments, but also the fact that the issue's solicit mentions the involvement of a "Sith assassin" -- a class of Sith cultist introduced to Star Wars canon in The Rise of Skywalker. CBR has reached out to Marvel Comics for clarification, though has yet to receive a response at the time of writing.

Nevertheless, the issue will follow Darth Vader being left in exile after his failed conspiracy against Emperor Palpatine. Specifically, he has been left for dead on Mustafar, the same planet where he was defeated by Obi-Wan Kenobi and truly became Darth Vader. However, Vader will soon uncover "his enemy's greatest secret."

Written by Greg Pak and illustrated by Raffaele Ienco, Star Wars: Darth Vader #7 goes on sale this November from Marvel Comics. The full solicitation information can be found below.
