The latest trailer for Marvel's Avengers highlights Spider-Man's connection to Earth's Mightiest Heroes as he enjoys finally having friends that can understand him.

The trailer, which features a variety of dynamic images and narration from Peter Parker, sees Spider-Man addressing his fans via a social media livestream. Updating them on his whereabouts and apologizing for his absence, Spidey confesses that taking down AIM is hard work. He's nonetheless been enjoying hanging out with The Avengers, who are "surprisingly normal" during the downtime. Peter is seen playing video games with Kate Bishop, eating pizza with Black Widow, researching gamma radiation with Bruce Banner and pranking Tony Stark with Kamala Khan.

"You know how it is. Saving the city all the time... all by yourself. It gets kinda lonely. I've met so many cool people now. I've been so many wonderful places. And you know I'd never leave New York... but The Avengers are like no other friends I've ever had. It's been kinda great," muses Peter. The trailer concludes with a teaser on how Spider-Man first meets the superhero team, as he flings himself off a building towards the team's Helicarrier.

Developer Crystal Dynamics recently unveiled Marvel's Avenger's Spider-Man in a cinematic trailer featuring the whole cast of crime fighters. While many fans are excited to see Spidey swing into action, his introduction has been marred by the controversy surrounding his console exclusivity. Only PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of the game will receive Spider-Man, while players on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC can only hope that the Web-Head is eventually brought to their platforms. Many long-time fans have criticized Crystal Dynamics and publisher Square Enix for locking the character to certain consoles.

"The legendary web-slinger Spider-Man will come exclusively to PlayStation players in the November 30th update along with the Spider-Man: With Great Power Hero Event. Spider-Man’s high-flying acrobatics bring an entirely new way to experience the game either solo or with friends, and his unique movement and combat abilities are sure to be a great addition to any Strike Team taking on missions in the Avengers Initiative," reads the official description of Spider-Man's update.

The next major update for Marvel's Avengers will also introduce the Klaw Raid, tasking players with thwarting Ulysses Klaw's plan to destroy Wakanda once and for all. The Avengers will need "teamwork, communication [and] tactics" if they want to stop the sonic supervillain's evil conquest.
