Marvel's Avengers has slowly been growing in terms of content and difficulty. However, as the game expanded to include the biome of Wakanda and new enemy types, it was only a matter of time before it increased character levels. That, and the introduction of new heroes like Jane Foster's Mighty Thor and the Winter Soldier, make learning how to level characters up quickly more important than ever.

In the past, players would take on mission after mission to obtain higher gear levels depending on difficulty to reach power level 150. Once reached, there isn't much to do aside from focusing on character builds and stats between the characters. With 25 additional levels to extend their capabilities, there's an opportunity to explore more while giving players a challenge that requires particular attention to player builds and teamwork. As gamers level up their characters, here are the best methods to reach the coveted power level 175.

Reaching Level 175 in Marvel's Avengers Requires Persistence

For new players, reaching level 175 can feel like a daunting task. However, the best way to reach the highest number is to tackle the road to 175 in increments. The first and most important is reaching level 150. The best method is to tackle all the story content the game will allow, depending on the power level reached upon completing the main story. After doing this, it's imperative to play through the many levels and weekly missions provided.

Some of the best examples of this are Threat Sectors which are multi-objective levels with many opportunities to earn gear. There are also Drop Zones which give out artifacts that help boost power level. As players get closer to 150, it's even more crucial to complete the Omega Level Threat, vaults and weekly missions, as they can drop high-level gear and the latter will give out exotic gear.

After completing the missions and reaching 150, the next step is to reach 160. To do this, players have to level up their major artifact all ten levels. Major artifacts offer a unique ability that can boost strength or offer other support attributes. To ensure that players have enough resources while grinding levels, it's a good habit to pick up SHIELD and Inhuman daily missions in the Helicarrier. Upon completing them, players will get the necessary resources to level up the artifact and reach 160.

Unlocking the Discordant Sound Raid Is Essential

At this point, reaching 175 can be a process but not entirely impossible. Once players reach power level 150, they unlock the Discordant Sound raid. However, if the gear is 150 with the Major Artifact, they'll reach level 160, opening the Elite raid. To reach 175, players will have to play the Elite raid once a week to get higher-level gear and work their way up the level cap. Once a week, the raid offers players a piece of gear that is 165+, but any replay will only offer gear at the player's power level. Therefore, it's important to tackle the elite raid at least once a week to reach 175.

Marvel's Avengers has pulled out all the stops in creating a raid that makes the 175 power level not only challenging but deserved. Although the elite raid and the journey to reach the highest level will be a grind, it's a great way to build friendships while playing the raid and zero in on characters that any player wants to focus on the most. All in all, this power level changes how Marvel's Avengers can be played for more serious players, while still welcoming casual fans and those who love playing as Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
