Marvel's Avengers Multiple Leaks

Miller has been actively leaking Marvel's Avengers news for years. In July, he released a leak alleging that Bucky Barnes, aka Winter Soldier, would join the character roster. Square Enix later announced that Barnes would be added to the game in its 2.7 update. On Nov. 1, Miller made another series of posts revealing Bucky Barnes' lengthy in-game character bio. In October, Miller also leaked new skins for Captain America, Ms. Marvel and Black Panther, two of which have since been added to Marvel's Avengers marketplace.

The Captain America skin featured a notably more rustic Steve Rogers with unkempt blond hair and gladiator-style armor. This skin, which is inspired by the version of the character that appeared in the 2015 limited comic series, Planet Hulk, was officially added to Marvel's Avengers marketplace on Oct. 20. The Ms. Marvel skin showcased the red, blue and yellow costume worn by the character's alternate persona, Mystic Marvel. The Black Panther skin features an outfit similar to T'Challa's "Thrice Blessed Armor" from Black Panther #5, written by Reginald Hudlin with artwork by Scot George Eaton and Jae Lee.

Although Crystal Dynamics has not fulfilled its initial promise to add one new character to the game every month, throughout September and October, skins for Iron Man, Black Widow and Hawkeye have also been added to Marvel's Avengers. The Hawkeye skin, featuring the character's original purple costume and eyemask, was added on Sept. 15. The Black Widow skin, added on Sept. 22, is based on the version of the character that appeared in Issue #5 of the 2020 Black Widow comic series, written by Kelly Thompson with artwork by Elena Casagrande and Rafael De Latorre. Iron Man's "Magic Modified" armor skin was added on Oct. 13.

Marvel's Avengers is available for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
