Marvel's Avengers highlights Iron Man in its first character spotlight ahead of the game's release next year.
Published on Marvel's YouTube page, the video begins with a character profile of Tony Stark/Iron Man. The profile breaks down all of Stark's stats including his weaknesses. From there, the video goes into a series of close-up shots highlighting a variety of different armors in Iron man's arsenal. This is followed by a series of action shots showing Iron Man going head to head with various villains.
Since being announced in 2017, the game has been gaining traction since the Square Enix presentation at this year's E3.
Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Tony Stark/Iron Man first appeared in 1963's Tales of Suspense #39 before getting his own title in 1968. As a founding member of the Avengers, Iron Man has been a key player in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The character has been played by Oscar nominee Robert Downey Jr. from 2008's Iron Man to this year's Avengers: Endgame with a rumored cameo appearance in next year's Black Widow.
