The lastest War Table for Marvel's Avengers announced Kate Bishop as a new playable hero to celebrate the video game's early access launch.A teaser video for Kate Bishop's reveal features Maria Hill introducing the Young Avenger to Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Kate and Clint Barton are working with S.H.I.E.L.D. to locate Nick Fury, who has gone missing since the events of A-Day. Their research led them to a tachyon project, with Clint disappearing shortly after. Clint appears out of the shadows to walk through a tachyon gateway opened by A.I.M., stating he is going to stick to their deal. The video ends with Kate fighting off a squad of A.I.M. robot sentries.

Of course, Clint could be working as a double agent to find more clues to Nick Fury's whereabouts. The War Table revealed Kate Bishop will be included in Marvel's Avengers as part of an Avengers Initiative story mode.

Developed by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos-Montréal and published by Square Enix, Marvel's Avengers arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC on Sept. 4.
