A new set of posters for Marvel's Avengers features a look behind the masks of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. The posters are part of a collaborating between Square Enix and Intel Gaming, as artist Tristan Eaton created six special posters inspired by the heroes in the game: Iron Man, Ms. Marvel, Hulk, Thor, Captain America and Black Widow. The posters will then serve as inspiration for custom PC mods featuring each Avenger.

During the course of creating the posters, Eaton describes his process using spray paint and working on several posters simultaneously. He also discusses being part of the Marvel fandom, his love of the Avengers and even mentioned how he met Stan Lee when he was 12 years old. The video concludes with Eaton giving the modders their respective characters to work on.

The collage-like posters feature each Avenger in their costume with several images depicting events from the game spliced into their silhouettes. To add to the theme of duality, each character's face is half-covered by their respective masks.

Marvel's Avengers follows the eponymous team reuniting to battle Advanced Idea Mechanics (AIM) and their leader M.O.D.O.K. after a horrific event. The game will feature other characters, including Spider-Man as an exclusive character for the PlayStation 4 version of the game. The planned DLC featuring Kate Bishop has been delayed due to Square Enix wanting to ensure quality for the final product.

Developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix, Marvel's Avengers is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC.
