Marvel's Avengers will feature a host of characters as free DLC in addition to the six main playable characters. And now, two new heroes may have been revealed.

The Marvel's Avengers Project subreddit has posted a list of files from the beta version that hint at She-Hulk and Kate Bishop being playable. More files also hint that War Machine will be a free DLC character.

She-Hulk is the alter ego of Jennifer Walters; she gained the same powers as her cousin Bruce Banner after a life-saving blood transfusion. Kate Bishop was a former heiress who ended up taking Clint Barton's mantle of Hawkeye; she possesses similar archery skills. Both characters are also slated to appear on television in the near future as She-Hulk and Hawkeye shows are set to be released on Disney+.

It remains to be seen how these characters will fit into the game. Considering that the game's developers have said that DLC characters will fit into the world and story of the game, as new characters are released, there's potential to expand on entertainment value and the different styles of gameplay involved. Marvel's Avengers recently released its beta version over the past weekend; there will be two more beta weekends before the game's full release.

Developed by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos-Montréal and published by Square Enix, Marvel's Avengers arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC on Sept. 4.
