A new photo from Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and the Wasp shows off the titular superheroes in their new uniforms. The photo is only the second time we've officially seen star Evangeline Lily suited up as her superhero counterpart, and the first time we'e seen her standing alongside Paul Rudd's Ant-Man.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is the follow-up to 2015’s Ant-Man, which starred Paul Rudd as a thief-turned hero whose heroic turn was enabled by the combined intellect of Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym and Lilly’s Hope van Dyne. The sequel sees Rudd’s Scott Lang trying to balance his life as a hero and father when a new threat emerges, forcing Hope to take on the mantle of the Wasp, a title her mother once held.

Hope’s mother, Janet van Dyne, was a founding member of the Avengers in her Marvel Comics incarnation, and even named the super group when it was first formed. In Ant-Man, she sacrificed herself to a fate of constantly shrinking as she diffused a rogue missile. What appeared to be her death, however, was not; Michelle Pfeiffer will portray Janet in the sequel, with director Peyton Reed describing her role as "very important."

Ant-Man and the Wasp opens July 6, 2018 and stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, Michael Douglas as Hank Pym, Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne, Judy Greer as Maggie, Bobby Canavale as Paxton, Michael Peña as Luis, T.I. as Dave, David Dastmalchian as Kurt, Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Lawrence Fishburne as Bill Foster.
