A veteran game console modder has crafted some impressive, limited edition Xbox Series X|S styled after Marvel's famous "genius, billionaire, playboy philanthropist" Iron Man.

Modder Mark Bongo, who has over 20 years of experience modding gaming consoles, revealed his creation to CBR. The impressive mod features an Xbox Series X strapped in red, reflective armor plates and a large, lit-up arc reactor that powers on and off with the console. "This is a limited run of Xbox consoles I will be making," Bongo said. "Iron Man-themed Xbox XS console with arc reactor that powers on and off with the console, screws individually holding down the armor, plus themed controller."

The similarly modded controller is entirely clad in red armor plating and features gold buttons, silver thumbsticks and blue accents. Bongo's mod is incredibly detailed, with every nook and cranny of the console accounted for with Iron Man colors. There's even a Stark Industries logo hidden on the device. There's no word yet on how long the custom consoles will be available, but further details can be found on Bongo's site.

Custom Xbox consoles and controllers have become popular in recent years, though it is rarer to find small businesses crafting them. Razer recently announced limited edition runs of two new custom controllers. One features colors and design based on Captain America's design as he appears in episode six of The Falcon and the Winter Solider. The other is decidedly more galaxy-themed, based on a Star Wars Stormtrooper helmet complete with the main thumbstick and A/B/X/Y buttons set in the eyes of the face.

Xbox itself has released limited-edition, custom consoles and controllers as promotional raffles for various films and games. As part of the Star Wars celebrations on May 4, Xbox announced 12 custom Xbox Series S consoles, each designed after a different mini-fig from LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. It also has a raffle for a custom Xbox Series S and four custom controllers inspired by Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Fans interested in entering to win either of these sweepstakes need to follow almost the same rules. To enter, individuals must follow Xbox on Twitter and retweet the official sweepstakes Tweet with the appropriate hashtag or hashtags -- #LegoStarWarsXboxSweepstakes and #Maythe4th for the LEGO Star Wars prize or #DoctorStrangeXboxSweepstakes for Doctor Strange 2. Those that enter must be 18 or older or have the permission of a legal parent or guardian to sign for them should they win. There is a limit of one entry per person and Twitter account. Interested parties have until May 20 to enter for the Doctor Strange prizes and May 25 for those from LEGO Star Wars.
