The first full trailer for the Disney+ exclusive series, What If...?, has been released.

The clip teases a wide variety of stories from across the multiverse, featuring some of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most beloved characters, including a somewhat lesser Ant-Man, who appears in the clip (alive and well) as a head. Uatu, played by Jeffrey Wright, teases the limitless potential of the multiverse, and the possibilities of the titular question, "What if?" before the trailer reveals the show's release date: Aug. 11.

The upcoming series was announced in 2019 and is set to feature a number of radically redesigned characters from across the MCU, including Killmonger, Agent Carter, Ant-Man and more. The show's first season will consist of 10 episodes and will be part of Phase 4 of the MCU, which has already seen WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Black Widow and is set to expand even further with the release of She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel and others.
