Somewhere in the Marvel multiverse, Miles Morales is armed with Mjolnir instead of web-shooters.

Written by Yehudi Mercado and illustrated by Luigi Zagaria, What If... Miles Morales #4 goes on sale Wednesday, June 1. The issue features a main cover and a design variant cover by Paco Medina. The latest entry in Marvel's long-running What If...? line of comics, What If... Miles Morales is a five-part limited series that unites various writers and artists to reimagine Miles as different heroes from across the Marvel Universe. What If... Miles Morales #1, which hit comic shops on March 2, revealed what things would have been like if Miles had become Captain America.

Scheduled for release on April 13, What If... Miles Morales #2 will reimagine the Spider-Verse star as Wolverine. Meanwhile, May 11's Issue #3 will reveal a universe where Miles eschewed the radioactive spider for gamma radiation and became the Hulk. No information is currently available regarding the plot of What If... Miles Morales #5, though the series' fifth and final issue will likely release in early-to-mid July, if its current release schedule is anything to go on.

Of course, the main version of Miles Morales was created by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli, first appearing in 2011's Ultimate Fallout #4. A teenager who gained the same powers as Peter Parker (plus some new ones) after similarly being bitten by a radioactive spider, Miles became the Spider-Man of Marvel's Ultimate Universe (Earth-1610) following Peter's death in that continuity. Miles later made the jump to the main Marvel Universe (Earth-616), with him and the main version of Peter operating as Spider-Man concurrently.
