Disney+ and Marvel Studios promised that their shows would be movie quality and they delivered. When WandaVision was first announced, people were unsure of the title but loved the two characters and glad they would be able to see them together again. However, the only problem was that The Vision died in Avengers: Infinity War so how could he return? That would become the mystery of the show and as the episodes came and went, some questions were answered while others remain.

Warning: Major Spoilers Ahead For The Whole WandaVision Series (Including Episode 9)

10 Pietro Returns, But Something Is Not Right (Episode 5)

Petro Quicksilver WandaVision

Evan Peters starred as Quicksilver, in the Fox X-Men movies. Aaron Taylor-Johnson played Quicksilver in the MCU movies yet there were a lot of rumors swirling around about Peters joining the MCU as an alternate version of Quicksilver before WandaVision even dropped on Disney+. Despite the rumors, when the doorbell rings at the end of Episode 5 and Peters was revealed as "the new Quicksilver", fans were beside themselves with excitement.

There was so much excitement because everyone thought this was the real beginning of the Multiverse and that other Fox X-Men characters could join the MCU. The last Wanda had seen of her brother was when he was killed by Ultron in Avengers: Age Of Ultron so when she sees this version of her brother all those heartbreaking moments from Sokovia came racing back. It's later revealed that this "Pietro" was just an actor, by the name of Peter Bohner, that Agatha used to trick Wanda.

9 Agatha Holds The Twins And Addresses Wanda's Power (Episode 8)

Agatha Harkness Restrains Tommy & Billy in WandaVision

Kathryn Hahn's character of nosy neighbor "Agnes" was thought to be Agatha Harkness right from the beginning. It may have been the worst kept secret in any MCU project. However, Hahn did an excellent job at every version of her character, and the song, "It Was Agatha All Along," has stuck in everyone's heads since it was released.

Episode 8 may have been the most emotionally charged episode in the whole series and Agatha is, no doubt, one of the most evil characters Wanda has had to deal with. After Agatha is revealed to Wanda, she takes Wanda back to three of the most emotional times in her life. Wanda then confronts Agatha, who has magical leashes around her children's necks, and declares that Wanda building a whole new reality is Chaos Magic and means she is the Scarlet Witch!

8 Vision Goes To The Edge Of Westview (Episode 6)

Vision Halloween Agnes Witch WandaVision

Episode 6 "Halloween" was one of the most anticipated episodes of the whole series. "Pietro" had returned and Vision was beginning to realize there was something odd going on. The fact that Vision, Scarlet Witch, and "Quicksilver" dressed up in their comic-accurate costumes just added to the fun. Vision tells Wanda he is on neighborhood watch and goes to do some investigating while Wanda and her "brother" take the twins trick or treating.

Vision starts to notice things have really gone awry the further he gets away from their home, seeing these people acting like robots and just going through the motion to keep up Wanda's facade. "Agnes" is in her car and looks to be frozen in her place until Vision comes by and releases Wanda's spell over her. "Agnes" then asks Vision if she's dead to which he replies, "no... why would you think that?" "Agnes" responds with, "because you are." It was spooky and really sad for this version of Vision, especially because he couldn't remember his life prior to Westview.

7 Monica Is Snapped And Blipped (Episode 4)

WandaVision Monica Snap Blip

After S.W.O.R.D. agent Monica Rambeau is thrown out of Westview, she lands in a field, and for the first time in the series, the real world is shown. The beginning of the next episode shows Monica reappearing, from the Blip, in her mother's hospital room. Chaos ensues as everyone who was originally snapped starts coming back and Monica runs through the hospital to see what's going on.

She eventually runs into her mother's doctor and is told that her mom passed away a few years back. Maria was a fan-favorite from Captain Marvel so the fact that she was killed off-screen and Monica didn't get to say goodbye was like a knife to the chest.

6 Wanda's TV Night With Her Family (Episode 8)

Wandavision Agatha Wandas Parents

MCU fans knew from Age of Ultron that Wanda and Pietro's parents were killed by a missile from Stark Industries. What everyone found out in WandaVision was that her dad would bring DVDs home each week and they'd have a family TV night. This is what gave Wanda her idea for having her own TV show and building a new reality for Vision and her future twins.

Agatha brings Wanda back to this painful memory and shows how close Wanda, Pietro, and their parents were and why she blamed Tony for their deaths in Age of Ultron. However, it wasn't a dud missile that allowed her and Pietro to live, but it was her powers that she already had that kept it from going off. This was a fun explanation for her sitcom-style life but, even though everyone knew what was coming, seeing a young Wanda realize her parents had been killed added to her tragic story.

5 Monica's True Identity Is Revealed After Twins Are Born (Episode 3)

Monica Vision Wanda Twins WandaVision

Trailers for WandaVision showed that the two Avengers would become parents in the series. It was also discovered that Geraldine was actually Monica Rambeau, the daughter of Maria and a friend of Captain Marvel. After she helps Wanda give birth to her twins, Wanda tells her that she was a twin also. Wanda sings a Sokovian lullaby and Monica asks, "he was killed by Ultron... wasn't he?"

Wanda looks horrified as she realizes her friend "Geraldine" is an agent of S.WO.R.D. and was accidentally sucked into her fake world. Wanda then uses her powers to pick up Monica and throw her out of the Hex. Vision asks where Geraldine went and Wanda says she had to leave. They then sit on the couch and look happily at the camera as they hold their newborns. Wanda didn't want any real sadness in her new reality which made Monica's question sting that much more.

4 Wanda Confronts Director Hayward at S.W.O.R.D. HQ (Episode 8)

WandaVision Hayward Sword

While all the theories about Director Hayward never came to pass, he still sucked. Wanda never broke into S.WO.R.D. headquarters and she never took Vision's body. She did show up at the headquarters and demanded to see him. She eventually gets to Hayward's office and he allows her to look down to the lab where Vision's parts are scattered all over the place. We eventually find out that Hayward planned to put Vision back together and weaponize him.

Wanda goes down to the lab after breaking the office windows and stands over her husband's body. In a call back to one of the most emotional scenes in Infinity War, she uses her power to feel over his mind stone. Wanda starts crying and says, "I can't feel you."

3 Wanda And Vision Say "Goodnight" To The Twins (Episode 9)

Wandavision Twins Thanks Mom

After Agatha is defeated by Wanda's new Scarlet Witch persona, the whole family returns to their home as the Hex starts to decrease in size. As Vision and Wanda tuck in Billy and Tommy, they tell the boys that they were so proud of them for helping in the fight. Vision tells the boys that they didn't prepare them for this but they were born to help out. As the couple is looking at the boys and the Hex is decreasing, Wanda tells the boys, "thank you for choosing me as your mother."

Who knows what that really means but the Hex shrinking meant the twins would disappear soon, as they were only created by Wanda for her dream reality. Or were they? The second post-credits scene may have hinted at the future.

2 "We'll Say Hello Again" (Episode 9)

WandaVision So Long Hello Again

After saying goodnight to their children, which meant goodbye, they head downstairs and watch as the Hex continues to close in. Vision knows they can't stay like this but needs to ask what he is. In an emotional explanation, Wanda tells Vision that he is the part of the mind stone that lives inside her. He's a body of wires, blood, and bone that she created. He is her sadness, her hope, and most importantly... her love.

Vision tells her that he is a memory that has become real and who knows what he'll be next? If that wasn't gut-wrenching enough, their final words to each other are, "We have said goodbye to each other before, so it stands to reason... we will say hello again." Forget the tissues. Just get everyone a towel the size of Vision's cape.

1 Wanda's First Visit To Westview (Episode 8)

Vision House Plans For Wanda

Wanda leaves S.W.O.R.D. without Vision's body and drives to Westview, NJ. Driving through the quaint little town, familiar faces are shown as Wanda heads to this empty plot of land. It's here that Wanda pulls out a deed to a house that Vision bought for them. In the middle of the deed is a big heart with the words, "To Grow Old In. V." Vision wanted nothing but a simple life for him and the woman he loved.

Thinking about Vision and what could have been, Wanda breaks out in tears and screams as her powers start blasting out of her and the Westview we saw in the first episode starts to build, including a Vision that she created subconsciously. Wanda never wanted to hurt anyone in Westview. She was just so broken-hearted and wanted this life Vision had pictured for them; so she created it.
