Nintendo has announced that the highly anticipated Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order finally has a release date.The co-op RPG will debut exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on July 19, and Nintendo followed up the announcement with the game's superheroic box art.

While the art is jam-packed with characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it also confirms the appearance of characters from the X-Men universe, such as Storm, Deadpool, Scarlet Witch and Nightcrawler, as well as Spider-Man-adjacent characters, such as Venom, Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales. Likewise, Daredevil is confirmed to be a part of the roster, and his fellow Defender Iron Fist showed up in an earlier trailer.

First announced at last year's Game Awards Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will see heroes band together to fight Thanos and stop his Black Order from acquiring the Infinity Stones. Whereas the first two games were developed by Activision Studio,s Raven Software and Vicarious Visions, this game comes courtesy of Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden studio Team Ninja. As with the previous games, it can be played solo or co-op, though the latter will require a subscription to Nintendo's online service.
