The upcoming Nintendo Switch exclusive Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order has made public the announcement of two more characters to its roster - Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel.

Hawkeye -- who's appeared in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance franchise previously -- is pretty well known among comic fans of all ages, not only because of role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as portrayed by Jeremy Renner, but also because he's been kicking around the comic books since 1964. Originally a villain, Clint Barton's Hawkeye eventually became a staple member of the Avengers and will bring his signature bow and arrows to the Nintendo Switch this summer.

The Kamala Khan version of Ms. Marvel is a little less well-known, having not been part of any of the movies (so far) and having only appeared in the comics since 2013. This, however, hasn't stunted her popularity, as she's quickly become one of the fastest growing characters Marvel has.

The duo joins an already impressive list of Marvel icons set to appear in the game, including Black Panther, Black Widow, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Crystal, Daredevil, Deadpool, Doctor Strange, Drax, Falcon, Gamora, Groot, Hulk, Iron Fist, Iron Man, Luke Cage, Nick Fury, Nightcrawler, Rocket, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Gwen,

Star-Lord, Storm, Thor, Venom, Wolverine and both the Miles Morales and Peter Parker versions of Spider-Man.

There's no confirmation yet on who will handle the voice work for the characters, but Kathreen Khavari has voiced Ms. Marvel the last few years on the animated Avengers Assemble, as well in the Marvel Battle Lines game from 2018. Seeing as the game has pulled Roger Craig Smith (Captain America) over from Avengers Assemble, it would seem logical to do the same with Khavari. The same cartoon sees Troy Baker as Hawkeye.
