Marvel's Nintendo Switch exclusive, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, will soon get a free update that includes new characters and outfit options.

As announced during Comic-Con International in San Diego, new playable characters Cyclops and Colossus will be a part of the update, which releases on August 30. The free update will also include new alternate outfits for Spider-Man, Hulk and Captain Marvel in the form of Spidey’s symbiote suit, Hulk’s Planet Hulk armor and Captain Marvel’s Ms. Marvel outfit.

The Black Order will continue to receive free costume alternatives, which are planned to release periodically all the way up to early 2020. This commitment guarantees the video game’s extensive cast of characters will receive a plethora of wardrobe choices.

This release follows on the heels of another recent update announcement for the game. That DLC, which releases on September 30, will see the arrival of Marvel Knights in the first chapter, titled "Curse of the Vampire." Four new playable characters were added, including Blade, Moon Knight, The Punisher and Morbius.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is now available in stores and in the Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch at a suggested retail price of $59.99.
