Doctor Doom returns in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, more villainous and more powerful than ever in the game's newest DLC release.The announcement came via Marvel Games, who released a teaser image of Doctor Doom, clad in white, with energy emanating from his hands. This is God Emperor Doom. The new villain arrives in Fantastic Four: Shadow of Doom, with a brand new story, set after the events of the core plot. In addition, the game will see a significant increase in the level cap.
A godlike Doom featured as the main antagonist of the 2007 original Marvel Ultimate Alliance, in which the Latverian ruler managed to acquire the power of Odin and started reshaping the world before an alliance of Earth's mightiest heroes and more put an end to his evil scheme.
There have been a number of DLC packs since the release of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 back in 2019, some of which mainly offer aesthetic changes, such as alternate skins for its increasingly large roster of playable superheroes, which currently features members of the X-Men, the Avengers, the Fantastic Four and many, many more.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is available now for the Nintendo Switch. The "Fantastic Four: Shadow of Doom" DLC expansion was released on March 26 and is purchasable through the Nintendo eShop.
