During a live "Secret Wars" presentation, Marvel Comics announced that last year's "Attack on Titan" story featuring the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, will finally see print outside of Japan as part of the publisher's 2015 Free Comic Book Day offering.

Discussing Marvel's plans for Free Comic Book Day, Senior Vice President of Publishing Tom Brevoort said this year's offering will include the Marvel/Attack on Titan crossover. Originally published in "Brutus" magazine, the crossover was announced in November 2014, days before its release, driving fans of both franchises into a small frenzy, wondering if and when it would become available beyond Japan.

Plotted by "Attack on Titan" creator Hajime Isayama and illustrated by Gerardo Sandoval, the crossover titled "Attack on Avengers" is described as a "What If?"-style story in which Captain America, Iron Man & Co. battle the 46-foot Female Titan on the streets of New York City.

Free Comic Book Day arrives Saturday, May 2.
