Marvel to Give Away Free Digital Collections with Select Print Single Issues

As part of the All-New Marvel NOW! initiative, select print issues will include a download code for a previous digital collection of that series.

As part of the ongoing All-New Marvel NOW! promotional initiative, Marvel Comics is set to offer select print issues bundled with a download code redeemable for a previous digital collection of that series.

A Marvel spokesperson provided an example to CBR News: "Readers who redeem their digital code will receive a digital copy of that issue as well as the digital collection of the first Marvel NOW! volume of that series. For example, in the case of 'Avengers 24.NOW,' readers would receive a bonus digital collection of 'Avengers Vol. 1: Avengers World' containing Jonathan Hickman and Jerome Opena's 'Avengers 1-6.'"

The "Avengers World" digital collection is currently on sale on comiXology for $10.99. CBR News has confirmed with Marvel that "Avengers #24.NOW" has a cover price for $4.99 due to being an oversized issue; the rest of the comics set to include digital collection codes will be $3.99.

The following issues, all designed to be new reader-friendly entry points, will include digital collection codes:

· Thor: God of Thunder #19.NOW - On-Sale 02/12/14

· Nova #13.NOW - On-Sale 02/19/14

· Iron Man #23.NOW - On-Sale 03/19/14

· Uncanny X-Men #19.NOW - On-Sale 03/19/14

· Uncanny Avengers #18.NOW - On-Sale 3/26/14
