Iron Man appears to have been on the receiving end of a prank in Thor #7, released today. The issue contains an unusual depiction of Thor's famous hammer, Mjolnir, engraved with the words "Call Tony Stark" and a ten-digit phone number.

However, it's not just Tony's in-universe fans and trolls who can take advantage of the opportunity to give him a call. The number, which has a New York area code, is valid in the real world too. Marvel's official website has taken the liberty of pointing it out and inviting readers to dial in.

Those who call the number will hear a recording from an exasperated Tony Stark, saying, "Hi. Yes, this is Iron Man. However, due to some big blond jerk, I no longer use this number. But hey, nice try anyway." Apparently, Thor's message has brought him a bit more attention than he wants.

The message goes on to offer an Iron Man website (which redirects to Marvel's site), and to implore everyone to take care of themselves so they won't need a rescue: "For all things Tony Stark please visit www.tonystarkironman.com, and uh, try and stay safe out there, yeah? I'm busy enough as it is."

Marvel's Thor is written by Donny Cates and illustrated by Aaron Kuder.
